as long as it suits your playing style you wont have any problem with it you may not be as good in other races compared to your T but gradually you will... ^^

The difference between Zerg and Terran isn't THAT big in this concern in my opinion, and I have a personal experience with several decent players (C-/C+) that successfully switched from Terran to Zerg. It seems there is some similarity, as with both of these races you are controlling some highly volatile and dynamic units (Zerg's units being many and individually weak, while Terran's being relatively weak themselves but with large damage output). Good luck.

I stared as Zerg and switched to Terran because I thought I was much better with them. But then not long ago I went back to Zerg and it's the best choice I've made 'till now, and my Z has far surpassed my T in a relatively short period of time. In short, you'll improve a lot faster if you play with the race you love.

ive been more successful with zerg compared to my Terran ive been Terran for about 2 months and the highest ive reached is D+ but ive reached C+/B- with zerg in relatively same amount of time IMO its easier to multitask with Zerg but still stick to the race you really like cause it will help a lot

Good luck. Its a lot harder to macro with Zerg than Protoss or Terran though Because all the Gateways/Rax are in one spot, you hotkey to one of them, come back and spam "m" (marine) or "d" dragoon, you can even queue them up and rally them all to one spot. Fight a micro battle, come back to rally spot and bam you instantly have another army Because laravas cannot be queued, you have to constantly come back to producing after one produces. Not to mention all your hatcherys are not in one screen, so you have to hotkey all of them scattered across the entire map and toggle through each to produce Basically, easy macro = Protoss or Terran

I always wondered what happens if 2 racepickers meet? P.S. play all races until it's obvious you are best with just one (it's also fun, develops greater understanding of the game, makes a good ground for switching to SC2).

Unless this has something to do with P being ez-mode in SC2?

Have you EVER played TvZ? Or even PvT? With zerg, it isn't crucial to make every production round. Even if you miss one, you're going to have two larva instead of one at your hatcheries. You don't lose output, just a bit of timing. With T or P, you lose both production AND timing. As long as you don't go for too long with three larva at your hatches, you're relatively ok. I think TvZ perhaps has the most difficult macro of all. If you miss even one production round in the early and early-mid game, you're going to be insurmountably behind. Marines build more quickly than any other combat unit in the game. You need to have considerable multitasking to be able to make every production round regularly. Keep in mind...this is coming from a Z player. Z macro is not THAT much harder than the other races. There are trade-offs, but P and T are not easy mode.
