If you have a video card, your UI will be faster with Aero than without it. Search index is pretty hot, as is having monster programs like MediaMonkey and anything from Office2k7 start up instantly. You really need to give it like a month. XP inevitably slows down at that point and Vista speeds up a bit. EDIT: The way the Start menu first loads is pretty fucking stupid. I made a 'Windows Shit' folder and dragged all that crap in there. | ||
