It's all about lowlands this season!! Minstrel showed some good tactics and engagements so I hope Pantheon is going to be similarly interesting.

Sacsri has actually been playing quite well recently and had some big wins. He was, along with Stork and Barracks, one of my three dark horse picks for this season. As for Motive, I think the nerves obviously got to him, especially since it was his first ASL and he was in a pretty tough group. I didn’t expect much from him, but it’s great that he now has this experience under his belt. It will only help him in the future. Rush is Rush—I just couldn't see him getting knocked out. As for Royal, like Sacsri and Barracks, he’s been one of the most active pros in the last month or two. He’s been playing a lot, but unfortunately, the results haven’t been so great. I’m glad to see him advancing, but depending on his group in the RO16, I’m not sure he’ll get through. But yeah, I think Barracks and Stork will surprise a lot of people this season. Like Royal, Barracks has been very active (and always has been, for that matter) and has had some impressive results. I can actually see this version of Barracks making it through the RO16, but once again, it all depends on his group. As for Stork, he’s literally playing out of his mind at the moment. It's safe to say he’s in the best shape he’s been in for a very long time. We didn’t have the best games today, but hey, it’s not the end of the world. A lot of great games are coming our way!

Mark my words. Speed will be the big break-out player this season. Speed currently looking like one of the best TvZ players and for some reason has Mini's style specifically countered. Wonder if that will translate to a good performance vs Best. Speed is way better than Sea(pls don't let this be a jinx), and I honestly think Best is his only obstacle in Group D. If I turn out to be wrong, brand me insane.

Speed has definitely improved on peaks and miles and seems to be in his element right now. The only question I have is the same one I had for Motive—this is offline, and I'm curious to see how he will handle the pressure. I think it's a very important factor to consider especially when you're up against guys that have already been there done that a dozen times. If he can play the way he's doing right now online, I can absolutely see him moving on to the R16 with Best, especially since Action is struggling right now and Sea well... I don't even think Sea can win a game tbh in this group. Maybe (a BIG maybe) vs Action but I don't see it.

Motive's game 1 was soooooo funny. That might be the only worthwhile game to watch in this group, even the audience was thin today, they seemed to know the quality of games that were coming. Rush as usual is crushing it, love to see clean games from him. I think overall the first half of the Ro24 was good, sure we got some meh games today but Group A and B were decent. I think next week we'll see some updates based on the current tiering

It is the kind of game that I'd expect to see in an Artosis' stream lol. Like when he tries to do something clever but his opponents don't do the usual things they're supposed to do, and Artosis ends up losing. Trivia: the lady whose reaction the camera captured right after Motive's blunder is his wife Aegong (also a Protoss player) https://www.fmkorea.com/7411926043
