Royal beat Snow in the finals of round 1 PSL but I don't think he's in a good form regardless. He should beat Sacsri and lose to Rush/Motive then lose in the decider match. Motive won CNSL season 7 and I think he played one of the most one-sided qualifiers. Plus, he is a "royal roader" so leggo!!! Onto ro16!! Rush should move on even if in the deciders only. He should be better in TvT than Royal, definitely better than Sacsri. Sacsri, I don't know he way always a third-grade member of a team. @prosatan, thanks for the thread! Don't worry about who cares or who doesn't everyone is free to post an opener if there is not any present, I think.

And then proxies an empty main base :D And then not either of them bats an eye and continues. I wanted a 10/10 unique game between these two and it's quite unique, I never saw anything like this.

Terran builds Commands center first, while Zerg overpools. The pressure from Zerg keeps up, stalling the natural being taken for Terran. Zerg now delays economical and technological progress of Terran while they go Lair and Spire -- is it an all-in?

I think this is an upset, I just said Royal should win even if he is not playing well but this was like, worse than Ssak yesterday. Now my question, in the loser's match: who is going to play normal and who will prepare a wild stratagem again?

Royal didn't do that much wrong after that. Maybe the academy was poorly placed. I'm not quite sure about buildings at the in this situation.

Upgrading stim, why not try go for +1 shield on bio? Or a goliath switch with heavy teching to factory and going out with an all-or-nothing. He was on auto-pilot which is what I tried to refer Ssak to

some marine counter-pressure from Terran and the bad placement of static zerg defenses means it is a lot more effective. Some seconds later Zerg dies. By the way I really like how today Gypsy tries to tell the hard truths and Nyoken is more about narratives so there's a nice back and forth between their perspective on moves and matches. Edit: Reviewing replays after matches are a great feature, Sacsri did not make hydra range

The map is weird, Terran took advantage of it but I think it can work in favour of protoss too. The cancellation of Stargate was ingenious reaction, and Royal fell for it the Terran army was teching anti-air production. After terran was securing it's lead the storms were crazy good but Royal made a true pimpest play, EMP'ing morphing two Archons and killing them with siege tank fire. The mechanic army marches on.

Sacsri has actually been playing quite well recently and had some big wins. He was, along with Stork and Barracks, one of my three dark horse picks for this season. As for Motive, I think the nerves obviously got to him, especially since it was his first ASL and he was in a pretty tough group. I didn’t expect much from him, but it’s great that he now has this experience under his belt. It will only help him in the future. Rush is Rush—I just couldn't see him getting knocked out. As for Royal, like Sacsri and Barracks, he’s been one of the most active pros in the last month or two. He’s been playing a lot, but unfortunately, the results haven’t been so great. I’m glad to see him advancing, but depending on his group in the RO16, I’m not sure he’ll get through. But yeah, I think Barracks and Stork will surprise a lot of people this season. Like Royal, Barracks has been very active (and always has been, for that matter) and has had some impressive results. I can actually see this version of Barracks making it through the RO16, but once again, it all depends on his group. As for Stork, he’s literally playing out of his mind at the moment. It's safe to say he’s in the best shape he’s been in for a very long time. We didn’t have the best games today, but hey, it’s not the end of the world. A lot of great games are coming our way! ![]()

Speed currently looking like one of the best TvZ players and for some reason has Mini's style specifically countered. Wonder if that will translate to a good performance vs Best. Speed is way better than Sea(pls don't let this be a jinx), and I honestly think Best is his only obstacle in Group D. If I turn out to be wrong, brand me insane.

Speed has definitely improved on peaks and miles and seems to be in his element right now. The only question I have is the same one I had for Motive—this is offline, and I'm curious to see how he will handle the pressure. I think it's a very important factor to consider especially when you're up against guys that have already been there done that a dozen times. If he can play the way he's doing right now online, I can absolutely see him moving on to the R16 with Best, especially since Action is struggling right now and Sea well... I don't even think Sea can win a game tbh in this group. Maybe (a BIG maybe) vs Action but I don't see it.

Motive's game 1 was soooooo funny. That might be the only worthwhile game to watch in this group, even the audience was thin today, they seemed to know the quality of games that were coming. Rush as usual is crushing it, love to see clean games from him. I think overall the first half of the Ro24 was good, sure we got some meh games today but Group A and B were decent. I think next week we'll see some updates based on the current tiering ![]()

It is the kind of game that I'd expect to see in an Artosis' stream lol. Like when he tries to do something clever but his opponents don't do the usual things they're supposed to do, and Artosis ends up losing. Trivia: the lady whose reaction the camera captured right after Motive's blunder is his wife Aegong (also a Protoss player) https://www.fmkorea.com/7411926043

But honestly, I hope he's not taking it too hard, and that there won't be too many trolls online giving him a hard time. If Rush’s SCV had been there, it could've been a whole different scenario. I actually feel for him, especially with a legend like Bisu laughing like that. But Bisu obviously wasn’t laughing at hi the whole situation was just funny lol. I was actually more amused by the fact that Rush really thought Motive was pulling off some crazy build. The fact that he sent 3 SCVs says it all. Watch Bisu reaction when he see the 3rd scv going at the wrong place LOL. By the way, I love how you mentioned that his wife also plays Protoss, as if that makes the situation even more tragic and hilarious haha.
