Why this version of DeMar DeRozan is more playoff-proof https://www.thescore.com/nba/news/2273203 Nice, thanks for that. I'm a big fan of the guy and I've been keeping an eye on his stat-lines and San Antonio highlights since Masai sent him packing. He had a pretty good thing going with Aldridge until they ran into some injury problems, and SA just really needs to rebuild so he was a little bit in limbo over there. Pretty shitty situation for him playing for a bad team with his reputation. I think it made his last round of free agency tougher on him than it needed to be, but he's ended up in the perfect place for him I think (I also think he would have been great on the Lakers instead of Russ). I know his iso-game isn't really something that can be relied in playoffs giving him more options to pass to than Slow JV or Injured Lowry (nevermind 2Scared-2Shoot-2Pats) should be a huge benefit to him and the Bulls this year. I'm not sure they have what it takes to win a championship but could I see them sneaking into the finals? Maybe... The East is really strong this year but so far I don't see a real stand-out team like the Warriors and Suns in the West. I figure it'll end up being Brooklyn, maybe Milwaukee, but I hope it's the Bulls.

Its depressing trying to follow the Raptors. Lowry's Toronto return game had a median ticket price of $2,000. The city was buzzing about that game. Then restrictions were added and No fans were permitted into that game; Lowry was hurt any way. Toronto now allows 500 people at Raptors games. I am so glad the Raptors won it all before covid hit. That 2019 playoff run was such a blast... two years later those memories are all the more cherished. He is slow to react on defense. The last 2.5 weeks against good teams he has been getting cooked by smart offensive players. FVV abused him all game long. Former Raptors and TV Commentator Alvin Williams apologized for accurately pointing out exactly how Toronto/FVV was exploiting his lack of defensive awareness. If you have the TSN and SportsNet online packages you can probably see the past Toronto/Chicago game to get Williams' exact insights. Derozan is a good player on offense and a good team player who helps others around him develop.

Which I would have thought when you hear harden trade. Report: Nets trade Harden to 76ers https://www.thescore.com/nba/news/2291362 its only a win for sixers cause they now have a player who's going to play for them. overall, i agree with stephen a, nets are a MUCH better team with this trade (if KD can get/stay healthy)

Kings make a trade that made sense for both teams, in which the Kings got the best player in the trade and dumped a really bloated Buddy Hield contract. Coincidentally, 2-0 since the trade. Small sample size, but the Kings look significantly better post Sabonis trade.

Dragic should've just accepted the backup point guard role. It is hard to add a point guard to QB an offense with no training camp and only 20 games left in the season. This sucks.... sigh.

Coincidentally, 2-0 since the trade. Small sample size, but the Kings look significantly better post Sabonis trade. Fox and Sabonis are both non-shooters. Halliburton and Turner both have better outside shots. Turner is also more of a shot blocker than Sabonis. Kings could've paired a shooter with a non-shooter instead of going with both non-shooters. It's harder to build around their chosen pairing. Then they threw in Hield in the trade, who is another shooter. He also has a relatively rare diminishing contract where he gets paid less every year. He could be a decent trade chip to a contender going all in. His contract gets better as a trade chip every year.
