My friend and I want to buy a xbox 360 in korea. What would be the best place to buy a xbox 360 and how much it would cost?
We need a xbox 360, halo 3, and a Hard drive.
Is Yongsan electronic market good? How much would it be there? Is there any sort of bartering.
We are here on a program and staying for 6 months.
Also we saw on craiglist on for 300$ includes: xbox, halo 3, 1 controller, hd cable, madden 08. Is this good?

I wouldn't buy it in Korea if you're moving back in 6 months, because most 360 games are region locked, so you would need a freeloader hack to get games in the US to work on your Korean console. Also, the voltage in Korea might be different from the 100~120V in America, and that would raise even more problems--transformers are bulky and expensive.

I didn't really think of that. Good advice mooga.

Listen to mooga because it's most likely different and you WILL need to buy a transformer. =/

voltage is definitely differnt in korea, it looks like a european plug. Btw I think korea is region 2, but japanese/korean machines act reallllyyyy funny when you put in the other country's games in them, like I did with my ps2 once at college to play my friend's korean winning eleven 8.
I think after that the OS went korean for a while lol.

Thats not really an issue because he will most likely sell it before comming back. The issue is that he has an xbox in the states but the shipping ended up costing 220. So he wants to buy here play for 6 months and then sell.
Also he would like to know how easy to sell and xbox 360 in korea after hes done and good methods.
Keep in mind we are from the States and how no idea how any of this works in Korea.
Thanks for everyone who replied and any future replies.
