So, he preps very carefully to gain early and mid game advantages with Bio or play Mech against Protoss.
Once he feels like he can't do it anymore, he's gonna go full time caster. TY has always played a bit outside the norm but recently he seems more like Gumiho, way outside the standard meta. Mech vs Protoss and such. And his mechanics have seemed more like Gumiho's too. I would've bought the idea of getting older and slowing down a few months ago, but Inno went through a big resurgence and now his mechanics are super crisp and clean even though he's older than ever.
Ty's issues with Protoss don't stem from any form of slowing down because if that was the case it would be far more evident in TvZ. I think he just lacks confidence in the TvP matchup.

Solar > TY Stats > Cure Solar > Stats Ty > Cure Ty > Stats
Gonna go against the grain here and take Solar and Ty... Solar will beat down Ty mechanically, Cure will choke when it matters, Ty's TvT is still top-tier, any zerg beats toss these days, and Ty will have some funky TvP builds that catch Stats off guard.

I think Cure has got very good TvT. I would not rule him out at all. It's his time to shine, his chance to dethrone TY as he goes into the twilight of his career kicking and screaming. I am not sure TY can balance a career as a caster and a pro-gamer for another full season. Solar is a strange player, I will never put my money on him. I'm not sure he can raise his game and dominate the group.
I go for Cure and Stats or Cure and Solar. However, I have a feeling TY will prep some insidious builds to throw everyone off balance.

Oh man, this is definitely a group of death. All 4 players have a good chance of getting through this. I think maybe Solar gets through instead of Stats or Cure, but really too close to call. I think TY is the least likely to make it through.
