3 colonists barely get to their escape pods before their spaceship breaks apart. They crash land on a planet in a temperate rainforest area and begin to awaken from their crypto-sarcophagi. The 3 colonists that have landed are Dekker, a very useful, hunk of a man, who has tasteful fuzzy hair, Woodward, a portly young 23 year old woman who really knows how to handle a bolt-action rifle, and Aldi, a middle aged woman or man incapable of hauling things for some reason. They also have a cool pet Warg named Lidia, which is like a warthog, but bigger

Most of the settlement has been completed without a hitch. I'm having trouble getting Aldi to do any work because he's incapable of anything, that lazy guy. Now we've just accepted a quest to help some guy from an angry chinchilla. The reward of the quest is having a royal favor bestowed, which will go to Aldi, making him even more insufferable with haughty and needy traits.

It turns out I was growing slow growing potato plants and not rice...and now my people are left with only one food package survival meal. Luckily I have spotted 4 survival package meals on the outskirts of the area and I have now resorted to hunting wild game to tide over the colonists until the rice plants grow completely.

The settlement is growing. We have electricity. Research is coming along fine. My colonists are happy. A dedicated rec and workshop area are in the works. Life is good.

Philaros, a middle aged man, is our 4th settler, and the first time I've ever had 4 people alive at the same time. We took him in after he deserted his faction, The Refugee Empire. We killed the man attempting to drag him back and have now become enemies of the empire.

For the first time more than one enemy attacked - a pack of 3 manhunting foxes. The only casualty was Aldi who had some fox scratches

I've undergone a new quest where I've volunteered my colonists to be part of an ethically questionable experiment conducted by psychic beings who have casted a consciousness suppression field on all male colonists, reducing their consciousness by 50%. Philaros due in part to his lower consciousness was too slow to eat his food to prevent starvation, and then went on an insulting spree, severely hurting his social standing among the other three colonists.
5th Decebruary
Aldi has died following an intense shootout with a pack of 3 men from The Refugee Empire, no doubt hellbent on capturing their deserter, Philaros. Despite my careful positoning, all of my colonists had been downed by their superior guns, and clever use of cover using my own buildings. Two of their men came out alive, but severely bleeding as they fled the scene. When all hope was lost and Philaros was helplessly being kidnapped, a mysterious man in black appeared, named Appren. Coming swiftly to the rescue, he gunned down the man carrying Philaros. The only remaining raider in desperation picked up Philaros again, and raced to escape, now only a few steps away from retreating to his colony. Appren took aim, and after 3 gunshots, there was a sudden thud, and then silence, as Philaros laid on the ground still alive, albeit only two hours away from bleeding.
The immediate danger of the raiders had been defused, but now Woodward and Philaros were dangerously close to death's door. Appren in his haste quickly brought Philaros and then Woodward to medical beds, tending to Philaros' wounds first. Philaros, constantly on the brink of death was thankfully saved by Appren's frantic mending of his wounds. Woodward's wounds were also tended to and both colonists made a full recovery.
Unfortunately for Aldi, a grave was not even dug up to place her in. She was instead lugged over to the stockpile where the rest of the dead corpses of past raiders and other less fortunate refugees who could not be saved were placed.

A transport pod crashed, containing a colonist named Talia Inventor. Although far away, the colony still needed new members to help. Philaros was dispatched immediately, carrying her through the rough terrain over the course of many hard fought hours, but just a foot away from the door to the hospital, Talia died...and as circumstances turns out, she ended up being none other than Philaros' mother! Philaros was understandably saddened by the loss, if not deeply remorseful.
Meanwhile, Woodward has recovered fully from her battle wounds, but her and Philaros have fallen ill with fIbrous mechanites, which are tiny nanomachines creating new, unneeded muscle fibers, causing intense pain, and the more well known bubonic plague. Medicine technology has been researched just in the nick of time, but we still need neutroamine, which can only be obtained by traders and fallen transport pods, to make medicine. There was also toxic fallout from an unknown source, which has caused carcinoma in Lidia, our pet Warg.

Philaros and Woodward's plague and fibrous mechanite ailments are kept at bay with what treatments we have left. Appren has died of infection following a nasty run in with wild game, and I've found out he's actually Philaros' brother. Philaros is now cruelly robbed of his mother and his brother and goes into frequent bouts of psychotic wandering and dazes. Woodward now in addition to her muscle parasites and plague, now has dementia from toxic buildup, and all at the ripe age of 23. Philaros and woodward the past month have also been lovers, making her dementia all the more cruel. Woodward insists on continuing to work, only to take a few steps out of bed only to need rescuing. And the toxic fallout has now finally subsided, but the damage it has wrought is visible as animal skeletons litter the surrounding area.

Philaros asked for Woodward's hand in marriage to which she accepted gleefully...and shortly after went into another bout of confusion caused by her dementia. A caravan has also come...but they're a combat supplier, not the ones with medicine and neutroamine to make more medicine which I so desperately need at the moment. I have purchased an assault rifle, and damn is it good.
Appren asking for Woodward's hand in marriage

Woodward appears to remain stable with only simple tending without medication to keep the pain of her fibrous mechanites, toxic buildup, and muscle parasites at bay so far. Her plague has subsided thankfully.

Philaros has picked the best time to be in a daze now that the colony is being raided by 3 men. Philaros perilously wanders close, but the men don't appear to notice. Meanwhile, I position the other two colonists, Dekker and the dementia ailed Woodward, behind my steel defences.
Philaros, you fool!
Ixnay on the camping. The men have noticed Philaros as he's wandered into their range. I hurry to Philaros' rescue, hoping that by the might of the assault rifle alone we shall overcome 2:3 odds.
A moment later...
I was too late, and Philaros has been nabbed by the Komodo Dragons much to the dismay of his lover, Woodward. Luckily my two colonists made short work of the two men that remained. I will return for you, Philaros.
Philaros being kidnapped...

Woodward is distraught at having her husband kidnapped and has started food binging.

Dekker attempted to romance Woodward, but was rebuffed. Too soon, man.
Woodward has fully recovered from Fibrous Mechanites despite being given no medicine.
A refugee by the name of Matthews has crash landed in a transport pod near the base. Unfortunately, with no medicine, there is no hope to stem the bleeding, so he is left to slowly die in the wilderness...

It's only Woodward and Dekker now. To think there were once twice the colonists inhabiting this once great colony. Dekker and Woodward spot a megasloth, and in Dekker's overconfidence, thinking the assault rifle alone would best the beast, Dekker tries to hunt the megasloth only to be mauled. Woodward who was indoors comes out to the bloody scene, attempting to fire a few shots to down the beast before being engaged in hand to hand combat. She causes the beast to flee who is now doomed to slowly bleeding out. With her last ounce of strength, she carries Dekker to the hospital bed just a few steps away, but he expires due to blood loss. She rests in bed, only to follow suit shortly after. And so ends the proud colony...Marcala.
The site of a megasloth, long since bled out, and the remaining two colonists, Woodward and Dekker, now dead
