amazing result from him, good job
He's definitely the most 'Korean like' in practice and strategy so its no surprise he does a good job in a GSL style tournament

After playing out Groups A and H one has to wonder how on earth Life could go to jail.

amazing result from him, good job nope, but his play style is very similar to the current korean meta.

In particular, he is a huge fan/student of TY. Practicing in Korea obviously helps.
Also, he saw the future with "Bogus, man."

oh, sOs first out of the group
was he actually any good?

So yeah, one can still dream of a run to Blizzcon but most realistically it will be very hard even in ro16. He got a good bracket in GSL vs the World as well, facing Neeb (weak PvP) and then probably TY (weak vs him). But Ro4 will most likely be soO and I would definitely favor soO against sOs. it would be nice if he made a neat run, but there are no WCS pts to earn here. I agree his bracket is basically as good as it could have been for him. I am following sOs for many years and I "lived through with him" his runs before odd BlizzCons. He was losing, unimpressive, desperate in the first half of years, no chance of making it to BlizzCon. And then, he received a wake up call. It was always some foreign tournament with several foreigners, and there, he has shined. And since that moment, he was winning everything. This year, he does not get to any foreign tournament, but this GSL vs World wild card luck is giving him the "wake up call" tournament chance. Additionally with an easy bracket for him.
This isn't what happened at all in 2013 though.

another great series of GSL matches. at the top level.. the game is in a great state right now.

sOs wins every second year because he saves 2 years worth of strats and blows it all in one go to win blizzcon.
