It's not a difficult concept, syllables arranged in a certain order cannot under any circumstance harm you, if it does it's because you've allowed it to on some level. If someone hits you in the face then yah you probably have cause for concern. The internet and gaming have raised weaker individuals because the absolute worst someone can do to you on the internet is say mean things, and because of that you have no perspective on what actual pain is. Yeah no fuck this. If the only reason you are saying or writing something is to hurt someone (Which, lets be honest, is the point when people start talking about "you should kill yourself", "Get cancer", "I rape your mom", or anything like that), that is entirely on the person writing it. You don't get to blame people for being "weak" and demand that they get "stronger" if they don't want that to happen to them. Blame the asshole that is trying to hurt people, not the person that didn't pass your criteria for being a strong person and got hurt. Mental pain is real pain, too. Mental health is a very real issue for a lot of people. People who claim that only physical health is real because any mental health problems are "all in your head" are assholes. Just because it doesn't affect you doesn't mean that it affects no one, or that the people who are affected by it are at fault. Your macho definition of strength sucks. The only problem are the assholes who try to hurt other people, not the people who are "not strong enough" (aka don't have an insane amount of mental armor built up from dealing with too many assholes already, and are thus not already totally jaded) and get hurt. Yeah, no, fuck this...... The difference between mental pain from someone calling you names and the pain from getting hit in the face is that you are a pussy. Plain and simple. You are a pussy if you let someone else'es noises from their mouth "hurt" you...and if you kill yourself because some stranger online or your bitch-ex-gf says to, well then maybe it was god's plan.... Listen, grow the fuck up.... life is a lot harder than people trolling people online and if you think not, then you prolly should just kill yourself, save yourself all that "MENTAL PAIN" that life is going to inflict on that ass, bro. ggnore Physical pain is easier to learn how to deal with. There is a reason for the USA having a lot of homeless veterans. They have endured mental pain and are having trouble coping with everyday life. Rape is also another major cause for weakened minds, as is bullying, living in violent homes etc. These are examples of things that usually have a big impact on a lot of people. That happens also, but somewhat more common. Usually I'll just explain them that I wouldn't do him/her a service, since (s)he would then face opponents stronger than the one the just couldn't defeat already. Even when close to a promotion.

Gee I wonder why your empty rhetorics do not actually refute the outcome of the research. Because a slur starting with "perhaps" sure doesn't.

Or maybe you just made that up because it fits with your preconceptions, and you feel a bit uncertain in your arguments?
How do you explain the self-harm symptom? That a lot of people put themselves through immense physical pain to alleviate the mental pain? Pussies? One of my sister and one of my closest friends have both gone through that, with multiple suicide attempts and pretty scary self harm stories. It is very clear that their problem isn't that they are spoiled brats that haven't experienced physical pain enough, and this is a very common situation. Frankly, what you are saying it's really insulting to both of them, but go ahead and tell me that my sister and my close friend struggling with suicide are pussies. It's only words after all, right?
