but its a shame this match takes place in the Ro8
an epic match like this should be no less than a semifinals.

I'd say if he gives his best Jaedong wins 3-1, if not Hwasin wins 3-1 or 3-2. Maps almost always have pro-TvZ stats anyway, nothing new there... but Jaedong is, like Savior before, not "just some Zerg". How bad the odds are doesn't matter to them, they rock(ed) anyway.

Honestly, as a Terran player and semi-zerg hater, I would LOVE to see Hwasin win (even though I've never been a particularly big fan of his. However, I don't want to see someone as big as Jaedong is right now go down this early. I'm conflicted.

That's what everyone told OversKy about Jaedong's ZvZ. And everyone knows the rest of the story. Winning 1 proleague game in ZvZ means the same thing as a ZvP Bo5. I'm smart. Hwasin vs Jaedong is really a coin flip. Jaedong crushed Hwasin last year, when Hwasin was at his hottest, in an epic macro fest. Hwasin recently beat Jaedong in a match where it appeared Jaedong's mouse was malfunctioning, seriously there is no other way to explain his unburrowed lurkers. At the same time, Jaedong has looked shaky in ZvT on Blue Storm of all maps, although they were against Mind and Ruby (and the Ruby game was more about Jaedong's overconfidence). Hwasin has looked good recently. Instead of looking at personal matchup statistics and map statistics, I think an important thing to consider is the best of 5 metagame. Personally, I do not believe Hwasin can beat Jaedong in a straight up marines+medics+vessels macro game. Flash couldn't. Hwasin has to do something early in the series to throw Jaedong off his comfort zone. He can ride Jaedong's ensuing shakiness to victory. If Jaedong wins comfortably in straight up macro games early on, then I feel his momentum will stop Hwasin cold if he tries any unorthodox stuff.

Hwasin will take the first set, then Jaedong will take the next three. The last 4 Bo5s Jaedong has played have gone that way. Coincidence? I think not.

If jaedong practiced with flash... Lomo and forGG are both in the RO8. When they both advance to RO4 and Hwasin is fallen, I will laugh (or at the very least, they've all fallen, because Flash vs Kal would be epic)
