Wow, you're smart! People lose games because they make mistakes!? And those who take advantage of those mistakes have it easy?

I did not know that!

No but Hwasin could have played much more better, this was not the same Hwasin that took Savior to a game of 5 when Savior was in his prime or the same Hwasin that cruised through the WCG qualifiars in 2007.

Much more play crap like could have he? Did you see jaedongs abysmal muta control in game one? Or all of his mistakes in the rest of them? If jaedong was playing perfect he'd have raped hwasin all the same if hwasin was playing perfectly. Can't live in a dream world of could haves and should haves.
Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.
Oh goodness me, FOX tv where do you get your sight? Can't you keep track, the puck is black. That's why the ice is white.

Exactly! It really annoys me when people say if X just played that and like this not making mistakes like those etc. may be right but couldn't the same be true for the other person Y? This is real life in the real world where you could always find something to improve the situation but the fact is this is just the way things went and happened. Really well said.

what was the point of jaedong killing his initial larva game 3?

First I thought it was a mistake, and he just thought "oh fuck it I 4-pool", but that was only for a split second though because of shock

That was well planned I think. It was a way of controling larvae. If you check out the VOD you'll see that JD has 4 larvae morphing Zerglings before the first 6 hatch. The canceling of the first larvae made it so it spawned a new one at a better timing for his rush adding 2 more zerglings to the fight alot faster.

Damn that 4-pool was so beautiful...

Wow, can anyone verify that that works? If so, geez, Jaedong has shown us two different ways to micro larvae. Chojja cancelled eggs before when he was 5-pooling some terran on Rush Hour... I think he mentioned in his interview that he did it because it doesn't matter, but it's fun for the crowd to see.

If that's true and he deliberately did it, then Jaedong has been practicing 4pool way too much.

So is this like the 5th bo5 in a row that Jaedong has won 3-1 after losing first game? That is a pretty impressive streak.

It is. It's also the reason why JD gets underestimated here I think (coupled with his bo1 losses in Proleague). JD is simply not a good bo1 gamer, he always needs 1 warmup game which he most likely loses.

I think Savior in his prime also wasn't that great in proleague but was very good at the starleagues and won pretty much every bo5. But then again I've never been following the PL much.

That's probably why such "bonjwas" have repeating MSL titles but not OSL titles... the BO3 format of the OSL.

Well I just tested it myself, and it surely works. It was well planned.

However practicing it too much? I don't get it, he won the game right? Means he practiced enough

Well, I really wanted Hwasin to take the series, but somehow I suspected he won't and the result will be 3-1 (with JD losing only the 1st game) . No matter - I expect to watch nice JD - Much semifinal .

JD's two group muta control was INSANE! I couldn't believe what I was seeing when the observer showed us his point of view. Too fast!

When progamers 4 pool they kill the morphing egg just to excite and surprise the crowd. I am almost sure this has nothing to do with larva micro...

Yea, there's no way cancelling a larva would create "better timing" of any sort, as the third larva would pop out almost immediately after (waaaay before the pool is finished). He probably hit SD on a reflex and realized "Oh shit, I was going to 4pool this game wasn't I?"

Haven't these progamers learned by now? In order to beat Jeadong in a bo5, you HAVE to drop the first game. GG 1 second after the game start, or destroy your own CC with your scv's if you have to, just do it. It'll throw Jaedong off his game and he'll lose the next three in a row, guaranteed.
