I don't think it's the worst thing, but they are prretty bad. Some have waay too powerful reward compared to what you need to do to finish them (looking at warrior and especially rogue), while the others are pretty much useless. The only quest that's in a good place at the moment is the priest one.

Dunno what world you're living in priest quest is absolute trash tier the effect is only good against aggro and doesn't come into play until turn 8/9 at the earliest when any game against aggro has already been decided not even fun trash like the druid or paladin quests either(though the cards the quest has you putting in your deck are fun the quest itself is boring and frankly I wouldn't even put it in my N'zoth priest lists).
Quest rouge is the least interactive deck in the history of the game I actually hate this deck more than 2 mana buzzard 2 mana unleash hunter I didn't even know that was possible especially given how much weaker rouge is as a deck i comparison.
As for warrior that quest is actually quite a bit weaker than I expected - they can still lose a control battle even after getting the quest off and it's a deck that beats up aggro without extending the game half an hour(looking at you Reno).

I uninstalled Hearthstone yesterday. Lost three arena games in a row and couldn't take it anymore. I draft good curves, I mulligan hard, and I end up with nothing but 4+ mana cards in hand, draw three 5+ more on the first turns, while opponents play the fucking fledgeling. The one guy that didn't have the fledgeling gets every single best possible answer and rng outcome. I'm done with this clown fiesta.

Try to play on my phone/tablet when i get a chance. Three days in a row i get disconnected and the game is unable to reconnect. I know this is not a problem with the internet. The app never used to be this bad, what update have they done when means i keep disconnecting.

another 1-3 where i get shit drafts, shit draws and match opponents who were gifted better drafts, not like that shit's fucking impossible with the choices i was given
what a fucking joke
my last 2 opponents both had y'shaarj
this was arena

I play on my phone (Galaxy S7 on T-Mobile) fairly often and almost never get disconnected. If I do, I almost always actually do have poor mobile reception. Sometimes it gets weird when the phone is struggling to determine if it should use WiFi or mobile and does drop out. On a spotty WiFi connection I prefer to just use the mobile network as each game really does not utilize a lot of data.

Thrashing a mid-range hunter with my elemental shaman deck when he suddenly gets a Tyrantus from a Jeweled Macaw.
Then the fucker BMs and ropes.

Is it time to fucking uninstall? Every fucking game now, even at rank fuckin 15 you see the exact same bullshit that has practically existed since the start of GvG. Heavy RNG within cards effects, super strong curvestone minions *cough Hunter * where your opponent draws perfectly turn 1 onwards but when you play the same deck you don't get those same draws, or uninteractive type combos like Quest Rogue or that exodia mage where you know what's coming and you can't stop it based on the deck you decide to queue with
I'm dead sick of this now. Taking over an hour to get 3 paladin wins because I decide to just make a murloc handbuff aggro deck, or mid range dragon murloc beast curator deck, and I still see the exact same shit in RANK 15 that people play in legend I just described above, because after 9k wins the system forces you to face these shit heads probably with similar hidden MMRs.
This is fun?

WHY DO I PLAY THIS FUCKING GAME
|
So tired of fucktards taking the worst possible decisions almost every turn, and still winning in the end because of retarded RNG or just stupidity of this fucking rogue quest. Today I lost to a jade druid who used both of his Jade Idols to make a golem because I'm apparently unable to draw any one of my 2 equalities in the first 25 cards of my deck. Lost to aggro burn mage because I drew all of my 6+ mana cards before turn 5 and he got a Doomguard off of Firelands Portal. Lost to quest rogue because I again drew all of my lategame before turn 5. Lost to elemental shaman because I couldn't answer his turn 2 coined Mana Tide Totem until turn 6, because I got the worst RNG with adapt mechanic + drew only 5+ cost minions + he topdecked every single fucking answer just when he needed it. And before anyone asks, I play about 20 cards with mana cost 3 or less.

Its gotten to that point where i auto conceed to quest rogue. Doesn't matter whay i do i always lose
|
Health total needs to be at least 35, probably 40. If I build to beat aggro then I should have a very good record against aggro. Aggro decks are the opposite side to fatigue decks. They should never be dominant in the meta. They should punish certain deck types but have a near zero win-rate against their counter decks.
|
when will the technology to punch all these fucking idiots i meet in arena in the throat be there
|
Even this brawl isn't fun and makes it obvious how much the devs understand of the game balance. Always an auto concede as kelthuzad

Play decks that doesn't clear daily quests: do really well Play decks to clear of daily quests: stop doing well
My ladder experience as of late

Finally got some time to play this month - climbed to rank 2 and got stuck there for 3 hours. I would grind out games only to meet quest rogues who drew the absolute nuts the game after to remain at 1 star rank 2 Effing quest rogues!
|
Legitimately drawing the line for this game, and will make a longer rant next time about all of this
This game already rewards players who make bad moves and still get away with wins due to the nature of randomness, or just how the cards are designed (poorly) either from an overpowered aspect or obnoxious mechanic. One example ofc my last game that prompts me to write this is a quest rogue who coins mimic pod on his turn 2, next turn he already completes the quest because his mimic pod miraculously draws him SS while he had one already in his hand, to SS his novice 4 times, then has prep quest while playing a boar and firefly to already have 2 5/5's on board by turn 4

is anyone from team 5 going to take a good, hard look at the actual game or is it too much for their peanut brains to handle
free 100 dust is definitely going to distract us from the utter shit hearthstone has gone to guys

I am honestly completely fine with aggro decks like pirates existing at this point. At the very least you can tell early that you've lost early on.
It also annoys me when people set up on one sole strategy for their deck in advance, refuse to play in any other way and complain about how other things are bad afterwards. I just had a game the other day where I played Reno'Zoth Mage against Egg Druid and realized (with what I had in hand at the time) that I could not afford to save Kazakus to combo it with Brann (I had to play it on-curve instead). And that decision is what lead me to win the game (narrowly, but still)
