Looks pretty clean. Pity about some of the streamy parts. As you hit the harder stream parts, it could've been near 97% with a bit more luck. Of course, I can't post without giving an update on my own progress. I'm really happy to get an A on the following song. As no one here probably knows the map, the difficulty of this map is the sheer amount of notes in a chord patterns. At half beats (i believe around 175 bpm) there are sequences of like 4-2-4-2 notes. The patterns changes per 2 beats i believe, so the challenge for me was both reading and moving fingers independently from each other. As you can see, by the number of missed notes, i cant combo it for shit (don't be distracted by the max combo, those were easy long notes), so that's something to work on. Second point. new training schedule paying off. I feel my fingers become stronger every day I play. Sometimes third and fourth fingers streams go well, which is huge, as my (left) fourth finger is very undertrained. Edit: Bonus video: Fun song, bad performance begin and end ):

got it 96.37% in a couple tries today - the timing is rly unintuitive to me. Have tried a few offsets but i'm always hitting some parts too early like -13, +7 at the end of the song with most/all 100's coming from too early here's what the semi-hidden looks like- + Show Spoiler + That's a nice Mania play, fun to watch and i can kinda read it a bit unlike when watching Bobbias :D

On my mania play, you can probably follow my play, because I'm just much worse than Bobbias TT + Show Spoiler + And this song is quite structured in terms of patterns

But I don't play with xornet 1 anymore (it broke), now using some cheap ass mouse, which is way too big for me (and heavy). Like I can't even play story of my wife with hr anymore. Fcing anything is impossible. Edit: Link: http://www.overclock.net/t/1577222/cooler-master-xornet-ii-review

I've noticed something else as well about tilting the mouse sideways - the mouse cable pulls a lot more consistently to the same side that way. I always got super triggered when the resistance of the mouse cable changed and made the mouse shell move or resist a motion unexpectedly, that's a big downside with oversized mouse cables on lightweight shells/grips but seems a little better like this. I didn't play mouse osu for a long time, got very out of practice~ dropped sens today and did a mouse session that went surprisingly well + Show Spoiler +

OBS play. As you can see, aim isn't refined yet, way too unstable. Completely unnecessary 100's as well. (last 100 is soo cringy) But I guess decent play for now.

I used to be ranked ~5000 or so with being mouse+kb now, some 3 years later I decided to start playing again and thought I'd suck with mouse anyway until I got used to it again, so might aswell just use tablet instead and learn that while I start up again. It's been over a month now and I can't seem to get past the feeling that every single time I sit down to play, I have to get used to the tablet like it's day 1 again. Every day I hold the pen differently. Every day I sit in my chair differently And these 2 things combined make the big problem -- Every day I need a different tablet area. Plus huge bonus problem - Every 2nd day the game is literally unplayable because I keep lifting the pen a bit too high and somewhere mid-song it will lose connection and the cursor will snap causing me to miss. I like the tablet in the sense that I can be much faster with it and hit jumps more accurately, but every day is such a struggle.. Also i feel less connected to the game in a sense when I use tablet compared to mouse. When I was using mouse, then whenever I was playing a beatmap that was within my skill level, I would pretty much FC 100% of the time, never missing a note. With tablet I can play harder maps overall, but I barely ever FC. Like maybe 1% of the time. Pretty much always I will miss at least once somewhere randomly, whether it's because I need to readjust the pen for a microsecond or just my wrist decided to move a tiny bit differently on a note, even on maps that I should FC with my eyes closed. what to do..

Set something that you think is okay, play with it for a week+ and target maps that are in FC territory for learning basic aim stuff i think. That level will rise and you can go with it and see how far up it takes you. You really do have to learn from the ground up. I can swap devices quite freely, i changed sens on mouse recently^ and started making some awesome plays within the hour but i can only do that from already having extensive experience with the exact setups that i'm switching to. When was you ranked 5k? What tablet are you using & area?

I can't sit on the chair the same way every day. Also the tablet occupies the mousepad space, so I set it aside every time I don't play osu, and put it back again in a different spot every time (my table is huge). My basic aim with the tablet is ok once I get used to it, it's just that it's inconsistent and might fail at the most random moments ever. + Show Spoiler [gameplay example] + + Show Spoiler [gameplay example #2] + Both above also showing the random misses. I was ranked around 5k before I quit, so some 3 years ago.(hell I was even in my country's OWC team for 2 years even tho I was a bench warmer, lol), now it slipped to 50k. My tablet is CTL-470 Area is something I keep changing. I don't have an actual area I keep using all the time, as I mentioned, it changes quite a bit. I would like to use a comparingly large area, but when I do that then the snapping issue I talked about is much more prominent, so I'm forced to play at a smaller area than I would want to. I can get a screenshot of that when I get home, I'm at work atm.

I can't really do that, I've tried. Brain's too slow. I definitely have no problems reading the 2 maps I linked. And overall most of my misses are definitely due to pencil holding/area issues. I'm not sure about these 2 examples and can't really check right now cause work, and watching vids is kinda bad here, but I have analyzed this stuff thoroughly by watching replays at half speed. It's quite blatant that the cursor doesn't quite get to the note, and judging by the cursor trajectory it is also easily noticable that it's due to the pen being held weird. I do have some problems with sometimes not syncing my keypress with the cursor location, but that's not the biggest problem atm, and it will go away in a bit. Anyway, all that is not the big issue atm. My absolute biggest issue is the pen losing connection due to the Liftoff distance Are there any tips on how people get past that? Is CTL-470 known to have LOD issues that you're aware of, or is 1cm LOD considered standard? I have tried and tried and tried, but I just can't be consistent in that regard. there are days where I literally can't do anything and it feels like no matter how I try to hold the pen, it will still be too high in every single song I play on that day, as long as there are notes which are close to the corners of the screen. (which is also why I'm forced to make the area smaller).

1750 dpi on 1920x1080 resolution. But according to one reddit user, the effective dpi was 20% less (don't know how that works exactly) https://www.reddit.com/r/coolermaster/comments/3uwis1/my_experience_with_the_new_xornet_2_mouse_3_out/ Any way, current settings feel like old times, so I'm quite happy. If I may comment on your situation as well, Abuse, I agree with Cyro that most of your misses are similar in nature. My opinion on the reason is slightly different I think. Your aim in terms of location seems to be 'fine', although somewhat unstable at times. In my opinion, the misses result in a mistiming of your aim hand. It looks as if you are playing as if the timing of your cursor if irrelevant. Hence you miss quite some 'snapped' notes, as the time your cursor is above those circles, if smallest. So I would focus on coordinating your aim with your rythm hand. There are a number of ways to train this. I used to train this via a combination of two things. First I would grab an insanely easy song at low ar (ar8,8.5 or so), and try to play it like autoplay. This means that you're moving your cursor at constant speed between two notes. Doing so forces you to be extremely conscience of timing of your right hand. Another variant is to play while keeping your cursor at a minimum speed at all times (insanely hard is executed correctly). After practicing this, try play (fast) jumpy maps like cheatreal, anti-you or story of my wife; or relax some very hard DT songs. This way, you keep pushing your limits not only on the control side (slow), but it will increase your speed limits. Give it a few tries, maybe it helps

Xornet 1 is my favorite mouse of all time (I have two of them). from what I've heard xornet 2 is much worse and not worth the money. If you can mange to find one, I suggest you stick with xornet 1. There should be a few around in ebay still.
