It's quite funny, in my History class you'd probably have to argue with 100 dumb bitches who think they were all fought for oil.
"Why did America invade/attack/think about ____ ?" "OIL!"
and they're serious about it too. Fuck.

Hahaha, dude, you're not alone... I had a lot of dummies in my Civics and History classes too.
I love the people that hate G.W.Bush but don't know why. I'm not saying I like the man either, but when you hear people saying "MRAAA, I WOULD MURDER HIM IF I COULD!" and it's like, some 15 year old girl... you just know they have no idea what they're talking about.

Oh dear God we definitely have those as well. Retards who probably don't even know what party Bush belongs to but boo whenever his name is brought up for whatever reason.
What's even worse are when the same people have long pseudo-intellectual discussions with the teacher, where they go on about how Bush r teh roflgg ubar n00b, no doubt spouting witticisms they stole from watching Fahrenheit 9/11 on the Discovery Channel, and the teacher has no choice but to silently smile and make a mental note of which McDonalds she shouldn't purchase from a few years in the future lest these dipshits fuck up her order or burn her burgers.
Fuck.
I shit you not, these people don't even know who Stephen Harper is, or EVEN WHAT FUCKING PARTY HE'S FROM. A select few in the class even think that Jean Chretien is still Prime Minister.

And even in those "heroic" wars, people lost the will to fight. The consequences of treason and giving up just happened to outweigh the consequences of fighting.

Idiots of all ages scream about blood for oil. I try and avoid telling people I'm a poli sci major because then they want to talk politics with me, and it's not worth explaining that they don't know what the fuck they're talking about.
YEAH THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW BUSH IS SATAN FOR THE WAR IN IRAQ BUT ISRAEL STILL DESERVES TO OWN THE SHIT OUT OF PALESTINIANS. OH REALLY? FREE TIBET? YEAH, I'M SURE TIBETAN MONKS PRACTICE DIRECTLY FROM THE TAO OF POOH.

The attitude to hate Bush among even people who don't understand why to hate Bush is a bad sign, but okay in this case. The rest of the world hates Bush and it looks bad when Americans don't (if only they did before the re-election).

Every man in a free country has the right to stand up for his or her beliefs. America is not under any threat from war. He signed up with the belief that his country wouldnt just decide its time to go and invade another one.
If America was under attack, sure I can understand being forced to uphold your military contract. But if America wants to invade some other country who doesnt pose a threat, soliders should have the right to object.
