Because I still recall when everyone thought SC2 would be the future, seeing as Kespa ditched BW for SC2, but then somehow through the support of fans and sponsors BW made a comeback and now it seems to be growing once again. There was no revival because Brood War never went away. Some key moments in the last 5 years: Bisu began streaming Brood War on Afreeca in September 2013 Bisu vs hero SSL2014 finals back in early 2014. EffOrt streaming on Afreeca in 2015. Flash streaming on Afreeca early this year. And all the recent notable tournaments (esp the OGN SSL2015): http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/Leagues/Notable_Tournaments

On the Flash vs Bisu game: The early push was a probing attack, if Bisu would have taken the 3rd base earlier instead going for a robo and 3gates, it could have worked. The attack which hit right when the arbiter came out was done insanely well, the mine laying, the pushing, turret building was all done great. It turned out eventually that protoss infratsturcture is cheaper, and you can`t go head to head with production facilites with the protoss in these kind of situations at least. I honestly think that Flash had it in the bag. But he did the "cute" vulture run by and let his tanks die. Tanks are the backbone of a push and can't be replenished right away. I'm pretty sure more than 9/10 times, Flash would have closed that out.

I think what happened was that FlaSh knew the push doomed (there was a grand total of like 3 tanks left) and decided to sidestep to deal some eco damage.

I think even if the vultures stayed it wouldn't have made a difference it was only 3. The key was right first when Flash attacked the zealot bomb took out like 3 tanks. If his turrets had finished 3 secs earlier he would have held.

Yeah, FlaSh probably thought he should do some eco-damage to hinder the followup counter Bisu could do (he didn't have any other option than to die there or die later to a large army.)

also it's so hard not reading spoilers also even though it's just for sponsors, it's weird seeing kt on Bisu On November 28 2016 11:11 BisuDagger wrote: Bisu threw game 1 versus Jaedong (for a second I thought Jaedong was back in form), but then Bisu completely outplayed him in games 2 and 3. Flash played very poorly all around and I'm very surprised he almost placed 4th. i stopped reading after the 1st sentence and i thought bisu lost the series. but yeah bisu's so on point :D his 2nd game was unreal
