-will enter ~2 year conscription as police officer this sept/oct (date not confirmed) -no plans to stream on Afreeca beforehand, feel that he will not do well at it. -plan for further involvement in e-sports industry after release
You will do fine just stream damn it! Military can wait, why can't Bisu have a word with him and make him join?

Speaking of stuff like this, does anyone remember what that .pdf file was that was released for the 10 year anniversary of TeamLiquid, or something? I don't think it was Pony Tales, but it might have been. It had a bunch of highlights and stuff, even stuff from the blog sections and stuff. Came out probably in 2012-2013ish.
I meant Progamers (I remember Skelton singing as well, amongst top progamers of that time i.e. Chojja, Reach, Yellow etc) actually covering old korean/kpop songs. Boxer was pretty shitty, while Yellow was actually good.
think this is a good time to finally get into BW ? Sc2 isnt all that healthy and with the shield battery incoming I hope theres a bit of revitalization incoming as far as the foreign low ranks go. Does attempting to climb the ladder of skill in BW still feel worth it ?

I don't think anyone can answer that question for you because it is completely subjective.
The only thing to say is that it's likely a tough hill to climb, but could certainly be rewarding as long as you're the kind of person who can appreciate the intrinsic reward of improving your skills, because there isn't going to be much else in it.

Is the community tight knit enough that its known basically what foreigner players are the best/small foreigner tournaments(even with no prize)? That would be enough for me to strive for even if I never got there.

I haven't been following the bw scene too closely but I think the answer to your question is yes. ie: There's Bakuryu, who I think is the undisputed best foreigner, and then there are some other dudes.
