In tournaments if you do this it s basically insta ban. But yeah ladder is a bit of a wild place. Usually, tournament admins only deal with what happens during their games.
Of course we have back channels to share intel and that's why usually cheat related bans are propagated across tournaments once a clear case is reported and shared (privately).
For me when I was active, ladder has always been a bridge too far to monitor and also we re not the police. If blizzard doesn't want to act then that s the lawless zone where you can try shit for fun and giggles. Personally i think it makes ladder a little less fun but i get it.
However if admins are aware someone uses those on ladder, then any case that would be just a 50-50 suspicion usually within our leagues will be considered harshly without the benefit of the doubt. So there d be no warnings or first steps, it would be straight to full ban.
Just my 2 cents about it ^^

Flash just streamed for 14! hours yesterday. Proleague, and then he was playing this UMS with Firebathero, TY, and Soulkey that I've never seen before. Had spider mines flying up ramps and shit. Anyone know what it was?

EDIT: ahhh i found it pretty quickly, if anyone worders: I had 2 folders with maps (both are seen by game!)
one is where game is installed (D:/starcraft/maps) and the other is the default one created during installation (like C:/users/xxx/documents/Starcraft/maps) and the downloaded reps go into the latter obviously.

The epic Flash vs Larva rivalry is finally continuing! I just tuned in and they're playing a match just like they were years ago when Larva was growing into an elite player for the first time and giving Flash a run for his money. I hope they'll have a lot of matches like this in the future.
