I'd join one of those for the purpose of playing stacked games.

Yea, but 5 stacking is easier because it has flexible timing and less required people. We managed to get 7-8 for like 3 weeks straight before community nights died. But my question remains unanswered, as I don't know if the group feature would actually be of any use. For something like this.

I for one would never play with camail if we did try to get a group together.

A long time ago people would join the CSGO Group chat in steam for pick up games, but it died out after people stopped using it. You just have to get some people to start using it so that more people will flock.

servers are down due to inactivity (i turned them off). Im thinking about tinkering with a service inspired by https://popflash.site/ where one can just requisition a server and then have the server turned off when not in use; of course this would take me some time but it would be a pretty cool projcet for myself.
let me know if you want to have the current servers back up (i would only leave one NA up and one EU up). another option is to just use popflash itself since it can do 10mans and scrims for free.
