I take our word very seriously and it saddens me deeply that we did not come through on this within a reasonable time frame. That said, I do want to make sure that those of you pointing to this are doing so with the right information in mind. Out of all the tiers promised 8/10 tiers were delivered on. The remaining tiers are a pizza party, and the cross-game showmatches. With this announcement we've made sure to deliver, or come close to delivering as is realistically possible, on the outstanding tiers as a part of this announcement, and I don't think any of us would have wanted to move forward without doing so. For the pizza party the difficulty is that there are basically no events for StarCraft to do this at nowadays. As a solution we did pizza parties last Sunday in LA and SF, and have decided to add to the concept by hosting an online one and dedicate a pizza party VOD viewing night specifically for StarCraft. For the showmatches cross-game is a difficult concept more fun in word than in practice. The showmatches in the announcement are included to make sure we deliver on this tier with similar but alternative content. I'm confident we can come up with some great ideas for this that will reward both players and fans in the SC scene.

But keep some perspective on this. Maybe don't shit all over it, even if you don't like how the first one went. Not because you don't think the communtiy was wronged, but because of the positives it brings.

I wouldn't call last time a success; I took months to get the strechgoals, and I can remember countless reddit posts and general drama surrounding this. It was a success for the parties involved. There's soemthing disturbing when you start to refer to junk food to affectionate nicknames. I love the way you also felt the need to write that you go for long runs, when for truly satisfying foods, you wouldn't need to. Saying a food is satisfying when you are hungry isn't exactly a stellar endorsement you think it is. Anyways i better leave before I get accused ofhurting esports(tm) or something. What it's just bread and cheese with a sweet tomato sauce. I think it's funny how high calorie foods are abused by people who shouldn't be eating so much and then the food gets blamed. Bread and cheese is junk food now? Or the sauce is gonna kill you because they add sugar? If you're active then it's not a problem. You've got it all wrong if you think that exercise is some inconvenient prerequisite for enjoying a papa. Exercise is something you should be doing anyway for a million benefits. I commented because I know a lot of gamers are both inactive and overeaters, which are two detriments to enjoying a papa, so I shared my experience. There are some meals better suited for eating after exercising. It's true that even the simplest and least remarkable foods become a great pleasure to eat the hungrier you are but I never referred to hunger. I have been lucky enough to eat more excellent meals than most people get to enjoy, but I still like simpler foods too, the same way you'll hear about a lot of chefs feeding themselves "low quality" food for most meals, despite knowing and having access to high quality food.
