BTW as whom were You playing, sounds like very good run.
To my own shame i was playing as Austria, but hey thats where my father comes from so its legit isnt it ? =) I revoked at 1550 but didnt vassal feed that much to the HRE cause i stomped France and the Ottos so bad early on and had PUs with all Major powers around me by the time i revoked.
It was my first "real" WC attempt and after Poland/Lithuania became a "normal" Monarchy in 1600 and they blobbed into russia super hard i forced a PU over both and thought this is mine for sure... sadly i am stupid as fuck. I dont know if i want to try it again im so frustrated....

it all happened cause i tried to divide Persia into 2 pieces by making a straight line to India worth 100 OE. Then i realized i could only core 1 province at a time and thought to myself : "ok thats only 2 more quick wars i can handle the rebels half a year lets try to be DDRjake.." im so naive

Did you try to simply play it out? I was on the point of quiting as well in that Ottoman run because of the rebels but in the end I survived it. In fact because I survived it and gained experience it was easier for me to deal with 100+ OE for years in the late game.

Played with Qara like for the fifth time and got lucky. Mameluks finally didnt rival me and Ottoblob suicided 3 times declaring wars on them. I accepted and we crushed them the first two wars (with Mameluks making retarded peace treaties) and the third time I listened to a friend and just DOW them and took a large piece of their country for myself.
Now my vassals turned rebellious cause i lost some army in the wars and Ming decided to support independence (I'm not even in India yet)... Great, now my vassals think that they have the largest army of the world on their side >.<
Btw coring costs are still ridiculous. I think I'll just write them lower.

Yes but it was too much too handle. Persia got another Province from someone else during my last war so they went above 100%WS again and i decided to just peaced out. Two days later the rebels enforced their Demands and i had nothing left but my home and my PUs over Spain Poland and Lithuania. I just gave up at this point

Everyone goes for shitloads of OE exactly once.
For me it was having a client nation and feeding it basically most of germany over a few years in a friendly multiplayer game (Just kinda hanging out in the same game, not really competing with each other). I was a monstrous Great Britain with loads of manpower and all the other good stuff, and i though i would just deal with their rebels for a few years and then have a wonderfully powerful client state in middle europe (I also was under the assumption that the rebellions would eventually stop when there is a -20% RR due to recent rebellions in all provinces. That was incorrect). I then ground all my manpower into that meatgrinder of 1-2 50k+ stacks appearing every few months. Then one of the other MP players decided to have a go and ground all of his manpower into the meatgrinder.

I just realized i had the most luck ever in my last run.
As Austria I got Bohemina in a PU and i was the defender against Poland so i took Moldavia and Mazovia from them and got Bohemia for free with all my allies against them even though i used them on my previous wars against Venice and the Papal State. All this in 1453 exactly after my 1 war against the Papal State. 1 Month later i forced Pu´d Hungary cause all their allies wouldn´t join. Straight after that the Burgundian Inheritance fired and i got all of the Netherlands for free. All this before 1470. The fact the Spain formed super fast and inherited Napels months before i got them under PU again for free is just the icing on the cake... why didnt i play it safe....

In my Otto game around 1670, 430 provinces +100-150 in vassals. I wonder if i make 1001 this time. Took prague recently and i wonder if i should westernize. Westernizing means You cant vassal Chineese tech so its a hard choice.

You'll easily make it with administrative efficiency. Yes you should westernize and you should expand into Asia with the distant overseas trick. You won't need vasals outside of Europe if you use it.

FFS! Playing CK2. First character gets maimed in battle, dies in february 808. His son dies on 7th of September 815, a maimed cripple. His first born inherits the throne, being incable from the same battle against raiders and on 11th december of the same year, his brother and heir dies in battle against raiders, a 17 year old brilliant strategist. But, no worries, i still have my 4 year old sister to take over....Rage!

After a rather bloody and war raged 100 years I was able to form the Scandinavian empire with most of England and Ireland (heretic Scotland so I'm not worried). Back when you needed 4 holy sites to reform your religion I took the 23 year old rebirth of ragnar on a holy war for zeeland. We won the war but he died, leaving the 2 continents and the flykirite to his 2 year old new born daughter.
The war that followed would make Charles habsburgs religious wars look like a mild disagreement with the amount of bloodshed and war ravaged land. I survived by occupying an equal amount of land on the other side of their lands when they came to take Scandinavia and then raided for merc money,

Update on my Otto game. year 1731 Provinces: 712 + 70-80 in Vassals. I think i can make it. OE is only limit. But finaly i was able to get to Sub Saharan Africa and now will feast on them. Still plenty of provnices to take in India Indo-China and China. Moscovy is my vassal and they are colonizing pacific Islands

Is it even possible to not let the roman empire fall?

You mean Byzantium? It's pretty much massive rng as to who declares war and when, and whether you can get good allies before that. All about getting that +diplo reputation adviser and allying Poland / Aragon before Ottoderps / Venice get claims on you.

With Administrative efficiency and imperialism you can conquer a lot of provinces in a very short amount of time.

If you are talking about the byzantine empire in eu4 (not sure, you might be talking about ck2, since some posters above you did that), it's position isnt as terrible as many other states. Despite the big blob right next to it that is gonna try and get byzantium's capital (and probably most of the it's territory), it actually has an army to no-cb with, and somewhat as a result can get some meaningful alliance partners.

Right now I'm playing as Portugal, I'm trying to dominate the major sea trade routes, unfortunately, I don't have unlimited merchants. Right now I have Zanzimbar node under almost 100% in my control, and Cape is shared with UK and Spain, but in both these nodes, no one is collecting trade, so it looks like everything is steered in my direction(Both these nodes only have a downstream route).
So, with this, does it make a difference having a merchant there steering trade? Should i put my merchants in more contested nodes?

So i did it. With plenty of time left (even after i was hit with 4 year regency).

Now i wonder which achievment i should try next. Kinda considering "Norwegian Wood" "Big blue blob" "Re-reconqwista" and "The Sun never Sets on Indian Empire". Thoughts?

Hey, can you guys recommend me a fun start? I've kinda done almost all of them already and I don't know any fun new starts so I'm kinda getting bored.
