I remember during one night's catering service he was tasked with the mission to debone some exotic cooked fish. At first he tried to debone the fish quickly but then the customers found fish bones still left in their fish. Complaints piled up and Gordon's Italian leader waiter or whatever passes on the information to Gordon who then tells the Asian guy that there's still fish bones left over. That's when the Asian guy takes a longer time deboning the fish but then the customers find another way of complaining by saying the fish is too cold.
As you can progressively see the bags around his eyes grow heavier by the ton each passing day he keeps asking to be eliminated but none of the teammates really want to nominate him for elimination. Eventually he gets his wish, a sweet relief.
The next season when the new contestants were introduced into the kitchen some of the previous seasons' contestants did some introductions and words of advice and that included the Asian cowboy guy. They included some clips of each contestant and for the Asian cowboy guy they included some clips of him crying because why not. One of the contestants watching the video laughed at the Asian dude for crying talking about how he's not a real man. That same contestant who made fun of the Asian guy later lost his temper during the cooking service.
On a side note I really think the most recent pool of contestants in the past few seasons have been incredibly bland and unentertaining.
