Also NesTea is way too high on the list. I can't really argue he's not top 15 because 3 GSLs are hard to argue with (he's actually won as many GSLs as Mvp--people like to say that Mvp won 4 GSLs but one of them was the silly "World Championship" where there were only 16 players, half of which were foreigners, and he pretty much just had to beat MKP to win it), but let's be serious, NesTea was one of the top five players in the world for a year or less. By fall 2011 he had pretty much fallen off hard. Edit: I retract the PartinG criticism if he's in top 5 over Polt. But if Polt isn't even top 15 (which is more defensible than PartinG not top 15) I think it's silly to have TaeJa top 5, where he will certainly be. The only criticism of Polt is that most of his success came in foreign tournaments but at least he won a major Korean individual tournament. TaeJa has never even been to the finals of one, much less won one.

Although I'm really surprised that Polt is ranked above MMA albeit winning 2 wcs while being a part time player and full time student is something extraordinarily difficult. Also being the last terran standing in the era of protosses was also incredibly difficult. Huh...as I'm typing I can see why someone can argue that polt is above MMA.

theres always this "taeja never won any korean tournament or made any deep runs in gsl" argument. maybe stuchiu is one of those elitists

I disagree with the way he weights tournaments and a notable many of the selections, so its worth taking with a grain of salt Edit: Reading Zest's section it mentions that Zest's weakness is Micro...hm.. If you look at Zest's play in 2014 much of his strategies are a combination of Macro oriented builds with cheesy components (kind of a fusion of Rain and PartinG's style). Also to note that his weakness is micro seems just incorrect. Zest is perhaps the best (other than maybe Parting) at taking maxed out engagements and controlling his army, focus firing stalkers, Immortals, colussi correctly. One thing to note is Zest's incredible ability to get the most out of each engagement and keep colossi alive for longer than any other Protoss I've seen. Here are a few video examples: - Here is a recent example against Hydra in Katowice - vs Drg, note how well he controls Colossi - here is a good example of a more creative component

So who do we have left? Mvp, Life, Taeja, MC and Polt? The first place is such a close one - Life obviously have proven himself but other than that first few months he really broke through, I don't really feel a dominance close to what Mvp had 2011. Still will be interesting, case could be made for either one imo!

4. Taeja 3. MC 2. Life 1. Mvp That's what I'm hoping, although I could see Taeja and MC being switched, and/ or Life and Mvp being switched.

A little surprised Polt's top 5 but I guess his longevity is impressive. 5. Polt 4. Taeja 3. Life 2. MC 1. MVP

He made it to the r04 a few times. Sometimes I feel he got screwed, when taeja was making his deep runs Blizz pretty much said, "sorry taeja wrong patch".

We are all so biased and it's impossible to please everyone. I have to say I agree so far with nearly all of it (MMA being a bit too high and Nestea perhaps in top5? but that doesn't matter) For the top5: I think 4 of them are quite obvious (Mvp, Life, MC and Taeja)... but Polt being #5? Oh well, good job :D haha
