Ok heres the deal: Teamliquid.net has always been blocked by our school's firewall system, but I have been able to go past it by using a extension for the site I found on google:
http://gameshop.teamliquid.net
I dont know what the gameshop thing is, but it allowed me to go to teamliquid free of blocking -- but now someone has updated gameshop.teamliquid.net to direct me straight to teamliquid, and not a hosted mirror. This just happened today, so its a fairly recent development, and it really screws up my TL-checking schedule, since I have a study hall where its really convienent to keep up on last nights games.
Anyone have any other mirrors of teamliquid or will I be forced to wait all day for game results?

why is teamliquid blocked?

I remember back in my hs we use a word filter that everything with the word "game" is blocked. Consequently I played many games on chinese websites and the gladiator game hosted on a russian website haha

anythingyouwant.teamliquid.net works
else use a proxy

No, all the extension.teamliquid.net things are just directing me straight to teamliquid.net, not remaining a seperate URL like they did previously.
*Edit* To clarify: the website teamliquid.net is specifically blocked, there is no word filter that blocks out gameshop.teamliquid.net, it just no longer is a seperate URL and i keep getting taken back to teamliquid.

Ahhh school filters, gotta love them. I'm pretty sure teamliquid was blocked at our school specifically because of me, seeing as I browsed the site 1-2 times freshman year then it was blocked forever Just find a proxy that they haven't blocked yet and you will be on your way.

Ah, if you look at micronesia's blog he has the exact same problem as a result of other domain name no longer existing.

Most school blocks also block proxy servers, so trying to bypass them that way isn't effective.
I used to use a VNC hosted on a friend's computer. It was really laggy, but hey :/
Then they blocked downloading of the VNC client. My school has surprisingly competent computer people. It's depressing.

Posted this in micronesia's blog, but not here:

Heh, well, in my univ most websites (funny ones) are blocked, like Youtube and such. I use hidemyass.com to bypass these blocks. ;p.
