Ok heres the deal: Teamliquid.net has always been blocked by our school's firewall system, but I have been able to go past it by using a extension for the site I found on google:
http://gameshop.teamliquid.net
I dont know what the gameshop thing is, but it allowed me to go to teamliquid free of blocking -- but now someone has updated gameshop.teamliquid.net to direct me straight to teamliquid, and not a hosted mirror. This just happened today, so its a fairly recent development, and it really screws up my TL-checking schedule, since I have a study hall where its really convienent to keep up on last nights games.
Anyone have any other mirrors of teamliquid or will I be forced to wait all day for game results?

why is teamliquid blocked?

I remember back in my hs we use a word filter that everything with the word "game" is blocked. Consequently I played many games on chinese websites and the gladiator game hosted on a russian website haha

anythingyouwant.teamliquid.net works
else use a proxy

No, all the extension.teamliquid.net things are just directing me straight to teamliquid.net, not remaining a seperate URL like they did previously.
*Edit* To clarify: the website teamliquid.net is specifically blocked, there is no word filter that blocks out gameshop.teamliquid.net, it just no longer is a seperate URL and i keep getting taken back to teamliquid.

Ahhh school filters, gotta love them. I'm pretty sure teamliquid was blocked at our school specifically because of me, seeing as I browsed the site 1-2 times freshman year then it was blocked forever Just find a proxy that they haven't blocked yet and you will be on your way.

Thats pretty cool.
But Teamliquid has been banned in my school for the last 4 years

Ah, if you look at micronesia's blog he has the exact same problem as a result of other domain name no longer existing.

Most school blocks also block proxy servers, so trying to bypass them that way isn't effective.
I used to use a VNC hosted on a friend's computer. It was really laggy, but hey :/
Then they blocked downloading of the VNC client. My school has surprisingly competent computer people. It's depressing.

Posted this in micronesia's blog, but not here:

Heh, well, in my univ most websites (funny ones) are blocked, like Youtube and such. I use hidemyass.com to bypass these blocks. ;p.

Make sure you live off campus next year.

I used to use that, then it got blocked as of a couple weeks ago. One of the teachers at my school was telling me that our school has an IT guy whose job is to monitor the sites that students visit. I'm guessing that he recognized what I site I was going to. I used to go to sc.gosugamers.net occasionally, but then that one got blocked too.
edit: maybe it is because of what Sonuvbob was talking about... having all the links to tl redirect to www.teamliquid.net that is. Maybe that's the case because www.teamliquid.net was always blocked.

Alright bumping this. Given the influx of new users since SC2(myself included ), this could be very useful for learning what really matters, Starcraft and starcraft related news!
Alright, so do these all still work? Looking through the 2 pages most of the websites don't even exist anymore, and ultrasurfer does but I haven't tested it out to see if it still works.
I have two classes with computers on every other day so I've tried some stuff. 1.Go to web cache, and keep on trying to open new tabs of a link within TL. It'll take like 100 times, but eventually it will go to the website itself and won't be blocked. It's weird though, alot of times doesn't work and is inconsistent. Perhaps its just the failings of my school firewall :p. 2. Something I discovered today, on Internet explorer. You go to security settings on the...below the URL bar. Don't know what its called. Then I went to my school server firewall thing, and while I couldn't adjust that itself, I made a password that allows me to unblock certain sites(or more correctly, bypass firewall.) I didn't get to test it out throughly however, so I'll edit this with more information.
What do you guys do?

Get a copy of Portable Firefox. Save it in my school folder on the server. Or you can use a USB Run Portable Firefox.

Oh man! That takes me back! I remember when my school learned how to block it, took them months haha. Sucked when they did though, although then i resorted to chinese proxies which were never fully blocked
Ah memories.
