Honestly, I forget, but I think that was his 2nd pick at that point, which would mean he threw 2 after that. Who knows then. In other news, there's this: http://espn.go.com/boston/nfl/story/_/id/12247092/fire-alarm-goes-again-new-england-patriots-team-hotel What a lousy thing to do. I hope the ones responsible get caught, twice in one week feels like it has to be deliberate. Let the teams play their game without interruption after interruption.. Hyped as F for Sunday, going to watch it live at a sports bar but it starts 00:30 and they close at 05:00. Going to be a rough Monday. :D

I recall the Eagles had an alarm pulled this year as well.

Show nested quote + On Jan. 2 of this year, just days after our season ended earlier than we all had hoped — and yes, my actions during the prior offseason definitely contributed to our failure to make the playoffs; it killed me seeing our guys fight so hard when I wasn’t out there with them — I boarded a private flight to Las Vegas with several teammates. During the flight, I had two beers and two drinks. It was the first time I had consumed so much as a drop of alcohol since July 4, 2014, the day of the DWI. Anyone who knows me knows that I am not much of a drinker. Even calling me a social drinker would be an exaggeration, but at that moment, on that flight, I made a choice. The wrong choice, as it turned out. Upon landing, I received the all-too-familiar notice by phone that I was to report to a testing location within four hours. I failed the test, obviously, and the rest is history … colored by media speculation and faux outrage. am a human being, with feelings and emotions and scars and flaws, just like anyone else. I make mistakes — I have made a lot of mistakes — but I am a good person, and I will persevere. If I have a “problem,” it is that I am only 23 years old — with a lot left to learn. I’ve come a long way from those mean Fondren streets, but it’s clear that I can be a better me — one who kids coming up to me for selfies and autographs can be proud of. I want that future for myself. And I truly believe that what I am going through right now will only make me stronger. I believe that my future is bright. Yeah I'd be pissed if I was him too. Forget about the ignorant posters here, I'd be really pissed about national TV personalities saying dumb shit like they "worry about whether alcohol will kill" me, without having a clue about who I am or how often I drink... If he continuously makes stupid decisions it is not so far fetched to believe he could die behind the wheel (he does have a DUI regardless of how drunk and in what state it was in). I don't think the kid has a substance abuse problem but if you make that many poor choices, don't expect people to feel sorry for you. He needs to take his licks and learn. I like that he isn't asking for sympathy but instead just expresses that he isn't an alcoholic (although I know very few that would admit to it) and admits he made a bad decision.

I imagine plenty of it was basically a direct quote though. Although he might of written it all I've never seen his writing...? It's whatever, the people talking out of their ass about addiction were wrong, and that's pretty much the only point I had about it. On the list of suspect NFL players regarding substance use Josh Gordon is clearly getting ripped on the technical aspects compared to people with more serious substance issues. The huge loopholes for people abusing pain medications comes to mind. There are plenty of stories from players about guys buying or being offered bags of pills often from doctors themselves. "I never took a Vicodin in college, ever," he said. "I didn't even know what Vicodin was until I got to the NFL." Under pressure to perform on Sundays, Turley said, players routinely numb their NFL injuries with prescription painkillers and risk long-term debilitating injuries. "I know guys that have bought thousands of pills," Turley said. "Tons of guys would take Vicodin before a game." Kyle Turley says he regularly uses prescription pain medication to cope with the pain from injuries suffered while playing in the NFL. Turley said one physician outside the NFL's network of doctors -- he would not identify the individual by name -- once offered to sell him a bag of 10,000 Vicodin. The going rate, Turley recalled, was $3 per pill. He said he didn't make the purchase. "Everybody has a guy," Turley said. Source

He'll only do it if the Seahawks get far ahead or if it's a game ending touchdown. He's got enough respect for his team that he won't intentionally get them a 15 yd penalty if it would really hurt their chances to win. Kinda funny how the NFL was fining him while making money off of the image of him doing it.

For one, if the Colts’ footballs were properly inflated, as they reportedly were, it would possibly indicate that they were handled differently or inflated more fully to start with. If it turns out that both sets of balls were inflated and handled similarly, the N.F.L. is back to the likelihood that there was tampering by the Patriots.

It's pretty simple to do just do some actual experiments with real footballs and see what happens. Umm, except the 2 PSI thing. Wherein it is not possible for the Colts and Patriots to both start with legal balls, and the Pats to end with -2PSI balls while the Colts' balls are still legal.

if u can get away with it.. all the more power to you. Baseball Pitchers push boundaries on what they can do to a baseball in preparation for throwing a pitch. female tennis players have been screwing with the ball to take the sting of Serena Williams power game. hockey goalies always push the boundaries on the maximum size of their equipment. because its a 12.5 to 13.5 PSI range we will always have some QBs pushing both the upper and lower boundaries of the rule depending on their favoured kind of ball. and the QBs who prefer exactly 13.0 PSI , well they don't have to do anything. whether or not New England did this.... i have no doubts other teams have tried to sneak in a 12.4 PSI ball or a 13.6 PSI ball or maybe even 12.3 or 13.7
