We are working on the donations. It takes a lot of time to get through all of them because of the issue they had. We are slowly working through it though =).

Is there any kind of rough schedule for the bonus stream yet?
|
Nope. Only guaranteed things is smash finals and 100% adventure mode

I still can't believe before I slept they were at $800-900k, I wake up today to watch the VOD and they broke a million. AGDQ and SGDQ are the best

AGDQ and SGDQ are the best The were actually well past $1mil at that point. At the end of the OoT run they just added in the HumbleBundle and Twitch subscription/ad money, and that was like $200k.
So basically it went from $920k to $1.15mil in a second.

We actually had quote a bit more than million at finale. There was a bug with the tracker that is now fixed and we are slowly going through all of the donations until it's accurate. Should be later this week that romscout or mike uyama post the final totals.

Bonusstream is up, showing some Metal Gear Solid Snake.

Am I the only one who felt this year's AGDQ was more underwhelming that previous ones? Don't know where to put it towards.... just had that 'meh' vibe all through out.

It's interesting because I think all AGDQ/SGDQ events are extremely variable on enjoyment solely on what times you are watching, what games are played and luck.
Last time I saw the Super Metroid race and that was pretty awesome and the finale (I think?) of that AGDQ. While this time Super Metroid was just ok, with the donation war being more interesting than the run. In addition to that the AGDQ ended with a 100% OoT run that was alright, but felt anticlimactic after the Blind Zelda Run.

The Castlevania race was fantastic though.

TBF it's hard to follow up the WONDERSHOT hype from last AGDQ anyway

it seemed fine on my end.

Most runs I watched were too long and/or lacking in commentary. I enjoyed SGDQ and the recent ESA event more.

I prefered this AGDQ compared to the previous one, even if the ending was really solid last year. That may be because a lot of the runs I wanted to watch were actually at times I could see them live.
