Overall the game is fun, not too hard and not too easy. Huge zones make it fun to run around and explore. It also looks great as well.

Switched to ranged character because playing a melee is an exercise of sadomasoquism on nightmare with this controls. dDazed i take you are not playing on nightmare, are you ? Because many fights require positioning there... freaking teleporter demons make me really mad. Impossible to avoid forever, and annoying as hell specially when there are a few of them and you get stunlocked the whole fight. Told you tho ;P

No way I'm starting over because of that though. Already 20 hours in or something. However I doubt it can/will get patched for existing chars.

I want to have that option while playing as female...

What the hell does the sprint button do? No matter how/when I press it, it sure won't make any of my characters move any faster. There's no walk key either for keyb/mouse, but I guess you can walk with a controller? Did anyone even test the PC version controls over there I wonder.. Also hate that each character has their very own stack of potions that they will absolutely not share with anyone. I mean, who cares that the tank is almost dead, I'm not gonna share one my regen potions as a rogue to her, fuck that! Would like more control over the AI logic for party members. If I set barrier as enabled to a mage, then chances are good the mage will spam that on my main character, who is also a mage at the backlines, instead of casting it on the tank on the front line, but manually casting it every time with these controls is tedious. Playing on hardest difficulty with FF on, I really do need to have control though.

- Horrible tactical mode, too zoomed in, no mouse scroll. - Bad responsiveness, specially with melees. - Lack of configurable AI like previous games. - Very little dungeons (maybe later this changes, but right now it is this way) - Small amount of technique trees per class, (no subclasses? i am guessing they are still there, tho i haven't found them yet) - Combat is too spam one button (or hold it) and you get little usage of other skills due to the small vigor/mana pools with some classes. There are plenty of good things in the game, and i find it entertaining, but it is far far away from a 9/10, and more in the 6-7/10 for me.

Probably bad for the immersion though I would imagine, + Show Spoiler + my lady. ;D

Nightmare difficulty seems to be more difficult than Origins difficulty even with FF off, mainly because every sloppy play results in a wasted healing potion, which are limited. There is no Morrigan healing everyone after battle for free. Also, i noticed that there arent that many spells in the mages trees, my one mage still only has barrier and freeze and dispel, the rest are all passives. I miss the darker lines like entropy, too. what i do like is that this game has the maps more up to scale, Skyrim and other games always downscale settlements and distances a lot more.

Scared the shit out of me the first few times, I thought some crazy strong sorcerer was nearby. Yeah i really love the lightning, adds a nice touch to the immersion. I also love the environments, they all feel unique and varied with their own themes and tones.
