You're almost 24 years old in a week.
Some korean who was born in 1996 just beat you on StarCraft 2
Wake up call?
... Should I just stop wasting my time?
What's the point of floating at just below GM skill level for years?

That first part means nothing. People progress at different rates. Just because some guy beat you now after 5 years of playing doesn't mean you won't be able to beat him in 8. Now, if you think you've stagnated in skill and have really given it your best shot at getting better but believe you've reached the ceiling of your abilities then it seems you have two choices: 1) SC Is Fun - Assuming just playing is fun for you, accept you aren't going to get better, and have fun just playing the game 2) SC Isn't Fun - This probably means you burnt out, or were only playing for the competitive aspect of the game. If it isn't satisfying to compete at the level you're at, and practice isn't fun, then quitting seems the logical decision. | ||
