@Ecael, I don't really understand what's OUTRAGEOUS in a claim that "conclusions based on RANDOM numbers aren't objective and represantative by any means".
Conclusions based on random statement was accepted by you, no? What's outrageous about accepting it based on random numbers? Or did you forget that this was about Ragz's personal, SUBJECTIVE (hey look I can caps too) view on his own feelings? It's sample size that matters, 40 is terrible statistic number. The easiest idea to implement the mean value method would be to take top12-22 personally rated anime for each year and cut off one/two highest lowest marks, get mean value after that, because it's reasonable to assume one with enough time and experience. have watched ~10-20 titles for one given year and they can be compared on that basis. 41 for one year, 10 for another, 56 for third, and 23 for fourth, and 8 for twenty years later, which is usally the case if you aren't a perfectionist/anime historician can't be compared that simple, so unless you insist on using higher maths, drop the numbers alltogether and simply follow your heart, especially when people don't care much. Yeah, maybe I went overboard with capsss. sorry.
if statistical analysis were this easy i wouldve gotten an actual job and milkis would be working at valve by now

Unless some specific cases, it serves the purpose better than original, disbalanced one and should be understandable without any kind of additional math background,

This last weekend I learned that there are girls only trains on the trains in Japan. Caller said they exist because he's been in one.

I was told those wagons are girls-only only during rushhour, so maybe he took a blanket with him, went in there during non-rushhour and slept there for a while.

No, he had to go through the girl's only compartment because he got on the "wrong" train.
Based Caller.

Not a bad list except a severe lack of Gundam

It's because most of the good series in anime are sci-fi/fantasy. lol
Also shoujo isn't really much of a genre.

Any list is most likely going to miss some. That's not a bad list, some questionable stuff like Psycho-pass without FMA:B or Gundam in there. Do agree that most good series have elements of sci-fi or fantasy though.

"A somber, sophisticated fantasy steeped in symbolism and metaphor. Often called the "least anime" of any anime series, this is a good gateway anime for highbrow viewers."
*shudder*
Ugh, I know there are lots of Haibane Renmei fans here, but urrrgggh that description....also so weird to call it "least anime" of any anime series. There are plenty of other anime, regardless of good or bad, deserving of that title.
Also, I lol'd when I read that they called Psycho Pass "reasonably intelligent."
lulz

FMAB is there.
edit: Man, this is so reddit, lol. I can't imagine this being any list but a reddit list.

I swear I looked through that image 4 times to make sure I didn't just miss it. I'm an idiot, sigh.

HxH so good now that the ant arc is over. For those who follow the manga, how many more eps do you think we'll get out of it before we get to the end of the last completed arc?

@Buddy Complex/Aldnoah Zero/Nobunaga the fool stuff people were talking about: I've already given my thoughts on Aldnoah Zero, so I won't go into that again. However, while I have seen Aldnoah Zero like a dozen times before in other forms, I've seen Buddy Complex like a billion times. Mecha anime like that has to have at least something identifing to it, that makes it an interesting or cool experience, even if it is the same ild shit. With Buddy Complex, it seemed like it was the time travel stuff, but all that turned out to be the worst part of the show, aside from the terrible CG it had. It also had the disadvantage of not filling the hole in my heart when Gundam Build Fighters ended, resulting in anime dying until Season 2 was announced. Now while i'm sure i've finished worse anime than Buddy Complex and Nobunaga the Fool, I also know I'm not going to go back and waste my time on anime that I know to be either boring or painfully generic.

Edit: Aside from that a decent list. Needs more shoujo and josei though.
