Aside from the IR/NV scope which has its own advantages and disadvantages I find myself more accurate at any range just using ironsights. Honestly I prefer it this way, I find in games like battlefield 4 the ironsights on most weapons are just downright impractical so it's pretty cool to have non useless ones.

Winning the Hossin alert 12(ish) hours ago was very satisfying. I've been using a Sweeper with slugs atm and have average(ish) success :3.

It depends a lot on your playstyle and whether you have a squad to back you up or not. My most used loadouts, which might not be perfect for you but work well for me: Infiltrator * Hailstorm (the SMG with bigger magazine) with HS/NV, extended mag, suppressor and soft point ammo * EMP Grenades * Advanced Shield Capacitor * Claymores * Default cloak * EOD HUD Implant Some people prefer the nanoweave armor instead of the ASC to make up for the lower total health of the Infiltrator, but I usually take little damage since I hit the enemies when they don't expect it, so ASC allows me to regenerate my shields faster. I also use EOD HUD since nothing is more annoying than running into a mine when you just sneaked around the frontline and are just about to begin your work. Others use regen to regenerate when they got hit, but again, it's better to not take health damage in the first place. Light Assault * Lynx with HS/NV, suppressor, ALS and SP ammo * Flash Grenades * ASC * 2 C4 * Jetpack * Regen Implant I personally prefer smoke grenades on the LA since I know that most of my outfit run HS/NV, but flash grenades are the safer option. ASC to recharge the shields between hit-and-run engagements, regeneration to heal any lost health, C4 to throw on MAXes from above. Engineer * TRAC-5 S with HS/NV, Compensator, Underbarrel Smoke Launcher and HV Ammo * Sticky Grenades * Flak Armor * Tank Mines * AV Turret * Implant of your choice The AV Turret of the engineers is even after a dozen nerfs and a hard range limit to ~450m still insanely strong and a group of engineers using it can destroy a whole tank column very fast. Indoors you should equip the AI turret though. Flak armor to protect you from explosions while repairing, tank mines to blow up vehicles and sticky grenades to throw on enemies while they run back to their medics for a hug - blowing them up in the process. TRAC-5 S with underbarrel smoke launcher is a double edged sword. Your allies with HS/NV scopes will love you for it, your allies without HS/NV will hate you for it. You can basically keep permanent smoke up on a position and MAXes and engineer AI turrets can't equip sights to see through it, so those are basically blind, making it a strong option to assault a fortified position. Combat Medic * CQC TAR with HS/NV, Flash Suppressor, ALS and SP Ammo * Non-CQC SABR-13 with HS/NV, Compensator, Laser Sight and HV Ammo * Revive Grenades * Grenade bandolier or flak armor * C4 * Regen aura * Clear Vision implant Clear vision implant is important if you are playing against organized opponents because, even when the HAs in the frontline are concussed, you can still revive and fight the enemies off and as long as you survive, you can revive your whole squad. I usually don't run an implant at all, but that would be the one I would use if I would bother with implants. The TAR has slightly less DPS than the Cycler TRV but a lot better hipfire, so it's my go-to CQC assault rifle. The SABR-13 is insanely strong at mid- to longrange and with laser sight also ok-ish at shorter ranges. You don't benefit much from a forward grip with a burst weapon so you might as well pick the laser sight. Battles are decided by which side brings more revive grenades, but depending on your opposition you might still survive longer and so be able to revive more wearing flak armor. Especially VS with their lashers can make a medics life hard, so I recommend flak armor for those situations. NC shotguns don't do AoE damage, so grenade bandolier is a safer choice there. Heavy Assault * CQC MSW-R with HS/NV, Flash Suppressor, ALS and SP Ammo * Non-CQC T16 Rhino with HS/NV, Flash Suppressor, AFG and HV Ammo * Concussion grenades * ASC * Medipacks * Resist shield * Awareness Implant Awareness doesn't help you much, but you are the tank in the frontline, so you get hit a lot and it helps your team if all the enemies get spotted by that. Alternatives are battle hardened for more accurate shots through explosions, marker to spot all enemies with the explosion of your conc grenade or clear vision to be safe against concussion grenades and to be able to throw conc grenades in CQC. Clear Vision + Conc Grenades is a cheesy CQC combo which works well for lone wolves. I chose the MSW-R over the T9 Carv since I prefer the better hipfire, but many people use the T9 Carv for it's bigger magazine. It's mostly a stylistic choice. The T16 Rhino is my preferred longer range weapon over the TMG-50 since it has very, very accurate and easy to control sustained fire, making it easy to take down targets at any range without making you much weaker at closer ranges. ASC allows you to more quickly get back into battle again after getting revived or damaged and medipacks are good if you took significant damage and your medics are busy reviving everyone. I use resist shield over the default NMG since it can take more damage if you enable it before taking damage, so it's a better offensive option. NMG is a better "panic button" that can save your life after you already took a lot of damage, so if you tend to get shot in the back a lot, it might be the better option for you. Concussion grenades are really great in organized play since they can make a room full of enemies helpless, so if you throw a conc and then tell your squad to rush in, you can even take superior numbers out. MAX * Offensive: Dual M6 Onslaught with extended magazines * Defensive: Dual M3 Pounder HEG * AA: Dual Bursters with extended magazines * Flak armor * Offensive: Charge * Defensive: Lockdown * AA: Lockdown * Awareness implant As with HA, you'll take a lot of damage from lots of different sources, so awareness spots all of them and allows your team to take them out. Flak armor keeps you alive against C4, though I also like the kinetic armor + charge combo to rush straight through into the enemies backline where they can't use explosives to slaughter their medics. Pounders are insanely strong against everything, especially when combined with lockdown, so when you try to hold a room or take out vehicles at long range, lockdown + pounders are the go-to option. It's not a good option when attacking, because after 4 salvos you take long to reload without the lockdown, making the Onslaughts the stronger option. You can also replace the Onslaughts with any other MAX AI weapon since all of them are fairly good. I mostly use the onslaughts because they have higher DPS to clear a room fast, but they are weaker during sustained combat since they have less damage per magazine. Outdoors you might want to use the MRC3 Mercies since they are a lot more accurate. If you need it, I can also add vehicle loadouts, but I think for now I wrote enough.

It is really hard to find head-to-head battle, either people stuck in some areas or imbalanced regions changing hands easily. Maybe you would enjoy running a public squad with us sometimes. I'm a member of the outfit Freelancer's Union [FU] (fuclan.org) (TR Miller) and we usually have public squads up almost every evening during the week days. Just be sure to follow the instructions as we tend to play a very dynamic game ;D My nick is TornadoTerran. Add me as friend if you like. I'm not on much though. Usually two evenings a week.

Were you in the match against us (FRMD) yesterday? I recorded our perspective if your outfit mates are interested to see the other side of the match. It included plenty of shouting and Zukhov accidentally muting me 20 minutes in and not noticing it, which probably contributed to his shouting even more It was a really fun match and showed that stubborn persistence can at times keep up with better training - though of course since it was our first match of this kind and FUs 5th and we had to wing it since training had to be canceled due to "football" blocking all time slots, the match still went in your favor. PS: Redhorrn was ok with me publishing the video after the match.

Zukhov swears and shouts a lot when he is excited, especially when he gets competitive, but he doesn't mean it personal so it's really not a big deal. We're actually a fairly relaxed bunch and after the action is over it's all peace and harmony. His... intense style gets stuff done though, especially in our Miller-famous public platoon where pubbies aren't always very responsive.

Im starting to get kills in my Scythe! Jehaaa! (A2A, Nosegun Only) I like fighting on even terms. (If you come with tanks, I pull my magrider, if you come with air, I pull my scythe. PewPew- or LoLpod-farming bores me out of my mind :D
