Harstem recorded an amazing upset in the WCS Europe Ro32, defeating both jjakji and Bunny to advance from his group in first place. Harstem had been held to Challenger League status in all the previous seasons of WCS Europe, but exhibited an unexpected level of play to defeat both jjakji and Bunny to advance in first place in the group.
YoDa came though second place, brushing aside a number of poor performances in online tournaments to earn a spot in the live Ro16 from the ESL studios. YoDa was force to play a number of difficult matches, nearly being defeated by both jjakji and Bunny before winning his spot in the Ro16.
WCS Europe will continue on May 22nd, with San, Mvp, ToD, and uThermal fighting for spots in the Ro16.
Next game day: Group D: San, Mvp, ToD, and uThermal

Congrats to Harstem! :D #yearof....
Those were some really awesome games. The army movements and harass vs jjakji was crazy, very impressive! Toe to toe

I would love to see the upsets continue tomorrow, ToD and uThermal going through over Mvp and San would be so much fun to watch.
Gogo Harstem!

Gogo Harstem!
No it wouldn't. A lot of people want Mvp to make a deep run in this tournament, including me.

Dafuq ? I was 100% sure Bunny & Jjakji to advance...

Would've loved to see Bunny advance too, but YoDa played well and obviously deserved it in the end, so congratulations to him! Harstem was amazing though, keeping the #yearofHarstem train going :D

I would have never expected that Harstem has even a slight chance to advance. But well he has proven me wrong. Really looking forward to the next groups!

I'm just happy Harstem is doing well, ALWAYS liked that guy! Plus it's good for Yoda, he's had a tough time since moving to Europe

So sad for Bunny! He´s playing really well these days...would have been a major upset with both koreans out.
But, well done Harstem!

Thats nonsense. I saw all games and the korean terrans were not better. If i didnt knew their names i would never guessed they are even koreans. Their quality of games were definatly not better than average european pro and far away from top korean play...

Harstem played really well yesterday, I was impressed with his templar play. YoDa made it although he had a b.o disadvantage almost every game, I'm happy for him.

HOLY HARSTEM!
His PvT is just super solid. No need for all-ins. His adjustments to Bunny's playstyle were also amazing to see. However, I think Bunny going for the 3rd scv pull in a row (especially on alterzim) made it a bit too easy for Harstem. Bunny was all like: oh, you held my scv pull in game to 2, probably just a fluke. let's try it again Would have loved to see Harstem and Bunny advance though

very happy for Harstem, going through this group must have felt great. Bunny on the other hand... the exact opposite T_T 2:0ing Harstem was very very possible.

If I was having a "Nice Guys of eSports" tournament Harstem would be my first invite. He's such a cool guy. Great to see him getting a MASSIVE win here, and hopefully he can ride the momentum to further heights. He deserves it!

Surprised to see Jjakji out already. Would have preferred him over Yoda but i'm quite satisfied with Harstem making it \o/
