Ever since his triumph at GSL and WCS as well as his hookup with mousesports, one of the premier StarCraft II teams worldwide, Baek „mouz Dear“ DongJun has been the center of attention for many fans. Looking forward to compete at as many Western tournaments as possible, Dear has been anything but sad about his new team, planning to perform well in his first tournament of 2014 in the red colors of mouz.
The 19-year-old Korean Protoss player will attend the Asus ROG event in Finland and has been preparing well for the tournament. Obviously the young player is aiming for a good result to not only please his fans and his new team but also himself. Among not many critics, he might be his hardest one, as he always questions his ingame decisions to look for that tiny bit of improvement that could grant him victory in his next matchup. „My goal is win“, said Dear when asked about his expectations in Finland. „Recently I have been practising a lot, I want to get great result.“
After the Asus ROG tournament, Dear will head South to enjoy a two week long stay in Germany, home country of his new team mousesports. Dear will live and practice in Cologne, where the clubs mousesports and SK Gaming maintain an office and practice area, that has been home for former SK player MC a couple of times already. During his stay in Germany he will not only meet the man behind mousesports, CEO Cengiz Tüylü, but also his new teammates Dennis „mouz HasuObs“ Schneider and Gabriel „mouz HeroMarine“ Segat. HasuObs will head to Cologne especially to bootcamp with Dear to sharpen both players awareness and gaming skills. The Cologne-based HeroMarine will join them to build upon a good team chemistry.
His English skills won’t be a problem, although he’s not feeling comfortable just yet... full story available at mousesports.com
