After succesfully holding an all-in from Squirtle, Soulkey records his first win for the season.

Soulkey delivered the gift of a 3rd consecutive win to his team SKT1.
On the 6th of January, at the Nexon Arena, on the 4th map of the 4th match of the first round of the 2014 SPL, Soulkey was yet to record a victory after his recent move to SKT1 until today. Soulkey was able to defeat Squirtle by showing off his "steel-wall" skills and claim his first win of the season.
After being tricked by Squirtle's amazing Warp Prism control and moving his units out of his position, losing his queen to Immortals, the momentum was against him early. However, when the opponent went for an all-in, a run-by with zerglings placed previously for a backstab was able to kill a large number of workers and after that was able to successfully hold the all-in attack, giving him his first individual win of the 2014 SPL season.
You recorded your first win in SPL.
Last match, when I lost to Kal, I felt dejected. I was confident I could beat him in a straight-up match but I lost to a sharp build-order. From now on, I plan to play safe so I don't think I'm gong to lose to all-in's in the future.
When were you certain of your victory?
When my Zerglings were able to get into his natural and kill a bunch of workers, I knew I had the game won.
What did you learn from your game against Kal?
I'm confident of winning in a standard game against Protoss. That's why I plan to play safe against Protoss.
How did you practice against Protoss?
I practised with my team-mates. The Protoss's on our team are really good. If I have an opportunity in the future, I'll show you how strong my standard play is.
You moved teams to SKT1, do you feel like your adjusting well?
I'm almost fully adjusted, but I don't think it's quite complete. Everyone on the team is very nice, and treat me well.
People are saying that 2014 will be the year that Protoss is strong, but amidst that they seem to be struggling.
I think it's only for the moment. I believe that Protoss is going to punch through to the top. I think Zerg and Terran are going to continue to prepare for Protoss. Protoss will soon be nerfed, but I hope they get nerfed in a way that's different to the current nerfs. It does seem that Photon Overcharge is pretty good.
Any finishing thoughts?
I was a little sad to lose the last game I played in 2013, but now that I've won my first match of 2014, I'm going to have the mind-set of starting afresh and work hard.
Sniper - "Proleague motivates me."
2 consecutive wins for Sniper in Proleague.

Sniper was able to defeat Jila (Kal) in the 3rd match of R1 of 2014 SPL.
This is your second consecutive victory in SPL.
I'm relieved and glad that we were able to win in the battle of the bottom placing teams.
Your coach moved from where he was staying?
He moved from the DOTA2 house to the SC2 house.
How did you prepare for Jila (Kal) as an opponent?
I concentrated mostly on playing on ladder. I lost a lot on ladder, so I came to the arena without much confidence but I think that my opponent was flummoxed in the moment so I had some good luck to take the victory.
You're a GSL champion, but you're showing poor results in HotS.
I think there's a big problem with my practice. I lost my passion, so for months I didn't practice but now I'm practising with the thoughts that this is the end. I still don't think I've regained my past levels of energy.
How do you feel now after playing in Proleague.
After GSTL finished, there weren't any tournaments for a few months so I didn't have much motivation for practice, but now that I've been playing and winning in Proleague I feel like I'm getting some motivation.
The team just recorded its first victory. What kind of level do you think MVP is at right now?
Everyone on our team is working really hard, so I think we should be able to reach mid-table.
Any thoughts to finish?
Because we're all starting from R1, our team decided to not put too much pressure on ourselves. It feels like there's been a lot more passion lately, so it'd be great to make it through the GSL qualifiers and get good results in Proleague. I want to thank our sponsors Hot6.
