Simple reason its just protoss after protoss after protoss, ill wait till something shifts the game OR the game shifts itself when people figue out this mass voidray, mass zealots and other dumb shit which doesnt seem to put them behind
you rarely see this shit in pro games but im guessing they dont watch low level games either to see the abuse toss can do. I dont mind trying to figure it out and beat it but playing toss all the time is too much for me now, its really boring, i like the way they can also block the top of your ramp with 3 pylons, if the ai screws you over you lose
ive been playing this game since day 1 of sc and ive never felt so annoyed, from my own opinion and how i personally feel this has to be the truth!
. . wait why should i stop playing sc2? i could just switch to toss . . .theres an idea

Wouldn't you just get bored of playing protoss or fall into the same trap as a guy like sjow?

yeah I thought playing protoss vs protoss was one of the most annoying parts of the game. Isn't it notoriously coin-flippy or did something change

PvP is a piece of cake! You just have to know what to scout for. There is, to some extent, builds that blindly put you ahead of the other player, but PvP has come a long way since WoL. It's a lot easier to play a macro game and actually pull ahead because of skill and positioning.
I think everyone is a little confused at the oracle buff, but you have to understand that Blizzard has screwed up protoss so badly that 2-base allins are pretty much the only choice in a lot of situations (like on maps such as Daedalus, Star Station, or Polar Night). It's just really hard to play a "macro game" as protoss. That said, though, you should probably check out a couple of protoss allins and see if you like them. Your silly sense of "honor" and "playing the game correctly" might tell you "No!", but after you feel the rush of a-moving a zerg with zealots and immortals for the first time, you won't be able to get enough of it!

Are you somehow related to a certain wasif?
=D

I do like HotS PvP a lot more. There's lots of builds you can do, and it's not just a game of "who can make more colossi than the other"

haha i got banned for 2 days couldnt respond after the mlg thread! Wont go there again! yes, i have been playing toss its kinda fun learning all the new macro mechanics so keeping me in the game. i dont know i dont understand how this could be something i looked forward to doing my free time and now i just feel kind of sighy about it all

Switched to terran after a full days dabble on both other races, the micro ability of that race is excellent a fun win or loose. i love making 2 units last for a bit (whilst fully neglecting macro back home of course ^^) and do more damage or getting the worth out of them. Excellent. Going to do a stream tonight i think and see how far i can get with my nub build before going into macro based games.
