Played a 5 Brand game, enemy was all Panth and kept trying teamfight. It was pretty silly, they'd all Skyfall onto us, we'd drop the combo and Zhonyas. Bouncing fireballs real terror. | ||

My average game in S3 was about 27 minutes. Now a days a 28 minute game is like an oldschool 45+ minute game, just everyone is only like level 15/16. Other thing is you could win games by playing light the Christmas tree and warding hard enough as a solo effort. While I like that change by itself, with the above changes it makes the first 30 minutes of the game worthless if just one or two guys on your team never ward. If people dont get when things are dangerous and the whole map is warded, usually they take spam "GET BACK ASSHOLE!" pings as "oh, I could die here..." but when they have no vision of the five missing champions a lot of people are too stupid to draw the same conclusions now. | ||

As for item changes, I'll wait til the shield gets the incoming nerf (which may or may not be "enough") before rendering judgement. And vision changes... well, it's almost an entirely different game. I think we'll see 2 sightstones per team become the standard in order to have enough wards out on the map, and vision sweepers become the norm (already getting one now once i have my sightstone as support - not so sure about other roles.) I feel like the upgrade to ruby sightstone feels kinda meh now - it seems to mostly serve to compress an extra ruby crsytal into the item slot because you're limited to 3 wards active either way. | ||

Then I play while dead tired, play like shit both games and get carried to Gold I 2-0. This game makes sense. Btw, Yasuo's E. So if you got spellvamp... You can harrass with E and then spam it on the entire minion wave(0.1s cooldown) and heal to full? Okay, sounds fair to me. | ||

My friend has been toying around with Gunblade Yasuo on PBE. He says shit's dumb. That, combined with Q applying lichbanes... Riot fucked up with an AP ratio again. | ||

if they can fix the numbers for relic, assist streaks, and bonus xp in the jungle - we might get a game where teams can have a dedicated jungle or not! I think that could be pretty cool. | ||

Well there are a lot of ways they could have done this with more transparent mechanics than "jungle camps give you 50% bonus XP for every level lower than them you are". It's really not intuitive for players to have to click on a jungle camp to check its level to know what they're getting from it. I think a lot of the end results for these changes look like they'll be ok, the question is whether Riot likes the direction they take the game since it's not really the same as what they seemed to intend to do. And if they do want to go that route,some of these mechanics are still sort of cumbersome and roundabout. | ||

I guess if you want to know exactly how much bonus xp you'll get you'll click but yeah, it isn't very transparent. I agree I think the end results will be ok and I REALLY hope riot lets it be and maybe we see some change in how the game is played. more variety! | ||
