The whole fun of Zed is being able to dance around with shadows and try to outplay people. Now he's just clunky... I think the nerfs hit him where they need to. He has so little counterplay in the current version. Hitting damage is the wrong way to go.

I've never lost to a support Annie in lane, unless she was carried by an Ashe. She's mostly just garbage in lane, with a great ult that I still think is comparable to Sona while being a worse laner.

But after trying it bottom lane, solo q players too stupid apparently because it's pretty strong. Her weakness is she can't really do shit if you take the bushes from her intelligently. That's not going to apply to a lot of players (esp down here in badtopia), and hence her major weakness bot is removed.

An would be one huge kick in the nuts for the other players on NiP, especially those that just joined them. Would make a lot of sense though. Oh well, once the roster change carousel starts spinning it is hard to stop. The NA and especially EU teams will look very different in s4.

He can still farm all day in lane, is actually a really strong melle champ from lvl 1, and he has a fairly good lvl 6 all in. Then he gets to be a top 5 splitpusher, and top 5 assassin with fairly decent teamfighting. Doesn't seem like a fix at all. Although S4 changes may make the point moot.

And let's be serious here, 200-250 mana is a huge cost for a single spell, when such ultimates no longer have the same impact as they once did. While mana-cost creep is a concern, I don't think lowering ulti costs on these champions raise too much concern. Leona's the only one whom I somewhat question. And if this talk of S4 support itemization is true, it means Morg support can actually afford a Zhonyas reliably, which allows her to hard initiate instead of just peeling with her ultimate.

Lots of "Oh I didn't realize Annie did that much damage" I feel like at a more base level, Annie support is just a weaker Sona support. I can see it in 2v1's where her big autoattack range makes a tremendous difference and the lack of sustain isn't as important, but in 2v2's not so much. And I agree with Tolkien, the mana cost reductions aren't a big deal. People shouldn't be acting like they're a big deal.

Sona's better at most aspects of supporting (free sustain, MS buff, also has CC, and great poke/harass and decent burst), but doesn't compare to Annie at all in a ranged kill-lane scenario.
