Apple gets more attention in this regard because of their reputation and they're the most profitable computer company, but there's little doubt in my mind that Apple's business practices are not worse than most of their competitors. Also, they probably have the best marketing department in the world (and I don't mean just advertising, I mean the entire marketing function.)

There's a lot of bad stuff from their end, too. Unsafe working conditions, forced overtime, 12 hour standing days, forced to work on vacation time, unpaid labor, underage labor, surpassing legal work hour limits, etc.
I'd be kind of shocked if most phone manufacturers weren't like that.
