Why would I want to do that? I'm actually leaning town on marv because he seems legitimately impatient/offended at the people attacking him. And not in a scum-marv "holier than thou" way.

Hapa wanna lynch marv?
And yet you're voting Tutankhamen for making a spectacle of himself with the policy stuff?
HOW DOES THIS MAKE SENSE OATS?

Why so defensive hapa? Would you vote for tuntonka?

Hapa wanna lynch marv? And yet you're voting Tutankhamen for making a spectacle of himself with the policy stuff? HOW DOES THIS MAKE SENSE OATS? Only me and Hopeless thought it was bad initially...... Like why as town, vote for a dude and the question the lynch for that dude in the same post. Makes no sense to me.

So, let's read this:

So scum are careful and think about what they post. Yet he "vote(s) for a dude and the question the lynch for that dude in the same post." How is this careful and thinking about appearances?
The two don't match Oats. What's going on?

How so? I really don't understand how it's possible for me to be defensive when you're not pressuring me =/
Would you vote for tuntonka?
So far, no. His mindset-shift on Rayn struck me as really town:
On August 29 2013 08:46 Tutankoopa wrote: rayn, here is what happened in chonological order
1. Sno posted. 2. You voted for him, 4 minutes after his post. 3. Then you say that based on his first post, Sno is town.
explain?
On August 29 2013 08:49 Tutankoopa wrote: actually nvm rayn
##unvote
Something like that shows that he's thinking about his reads and isn't desperate to tunnel someone. I think a good scum-player *could* fake that, but I'd put my money on it being a genuine town-mindset for now.
|
Rayn already didnt want to explain his 180 to both me and yamato, why would he explain it to Tutan? I assume that Tutan saw the responses to me and yamato already and withdrew his question. Also wasnt tuntankoopa's vote a policy vote anyway? So once the policy got no traction, UNVOTE. I dont see any evidence of Tutan thinking that rayn was scum.
Marv, I said 'generally' and also, it wasnt that bad of a post if tutan was scum because apparently no one other than me and hopeless thinks he is scum for it. You read Persona? And crazo? Tutan strikes me as the same kinda player.

Tutan seems nothing like Crazo at all. He has much more to him. That's a terrible comparison.
I'm pretty suspicious of you for defending debears with one argument, and damning Tuten with the same argument. Still makes no sense.
What did you expect to happen with a policy vote like that? For him to stick to it? Would that have been 'townie'? Your read smells like ass.

It looks to me like he posted his initial case, then realized that he was barking up the wrong tree. I had much the same reaction to reading Rayn's opening barrage of posts.
"Oookay interesting vote on SnO... wait wut he think's Sno is town?!? How does that make any goddamn sense?" "Oh wait that's the most absurdly attention-whorey move ever, seems townie."
Also wasnt tuntankoopa's vote a policy vote anyway? So once the policy got no traction, UNVOTE. I dont see any evidence of Tutan thinking that rayn was scum.
I agree that it was mostly a random early-game policy vote. How is retracting an early-game policy vote scummy?
Anyway, Tutan can give a defense for himself. No sense in me doing his job for him this early int he game.
Bah. I've stayed up waaaaay too late, and I need to go to bed.

Hapa thinking similarly to me, me gusta.

Oh @ Onegu
You have two posts commenting on reads so far, but you haven't given any concrete opinions. You've criticized several statements/posts so far but haven't offered anything of your own. Do you have any strong reads any which way right now?

Tutankoopa i would like you to explain a couple of things:

Tutan was attempting to justify a sheep 2 onto an unknown policy and has since changed his mind...I'm glad I sheeped Oats. 1. Can you clarify what you found to be stupid about rayn's play? 2. When you saw my vote, did you think I was seriously going to push for rayn's lynch on D1? Also, you say rayn's play is stupid yet you also claim to not understand the policy lynch. Explain? How does the bolded part make sense? If Hopeless did not understand the "policy", why is it wrong for him to call my play stupid? What did he need to explain? To me his thought process makes sense.
On August 29 2013 11:01 Tutankoopa wrote: Bout to head out for a few hours. For now all that really bothers me is hopeless, yamato, and oats in that specific order. Everything else seems fairly harmless and I'm not seeing much scumminess in the rayn/scib/whoever debate. I'm worried about yamato because what he's posted so far could very easily be mafia taking a dump in the thread and throwing bad looks at people who smell his shit. There's nothing I can pinpoint in Hopeless' filter, but a few of his posts have given me weird vibes. I guess I'm not convinced that he really thinks I or anyone else could be mafia. I just now looked at Oat's filter and I was unable to see what I thought I saw earlier, so scratch him from my list.
My guess at who's mafia is 1 out of, but probably not both hopeless/yamato, and the rest are people that haven't posted. What's your thought process between starting and finishing this post? Did you read Oats filter between writing the post? Why? In the start of the post you say something, then you say another thing at the end of it. Why would you not read the whole thread before posting so you are on top of things and not need to change your opinion in the same post?

Remind me to talk about the 2nd half of your post there, rayn, once Tutan has answered for himself.

Yes I am leaning scum on dabears, guess I should have been more clear on that if I had to choose . Also from the whole sn0 thing and how rayne reacted made me feel town on him. FT needs to get back in here as he has done nothing. I also agree with rayne that sn0s post is townie.

marv knows who Tuten is.
Hapa, a series of questions isnt a case man....
|
Oats can you clarify to me why exactly are you suspicious of Tutankoopa? Has his policy vote something to do with it and if it does, what?
|
He votes for you and questions the reason to vote for you in the same post. So far marv says that post is too bad to be scum. Also he seems coherent but he hasnt done jack shit except 1 wishy washy post that said I am suspicious of dudes for no reason.

That didn't actually answer rayn's question, Oats.
|
I got that "what's the policy?" instantly as a joke. I have to agree with marv, you later on said mafia would not want to make stupid posts in the beginning to draw attention to themselves. Then you accuse Tonkadonk for doing exactly that. I don't see the logic. Other stuff than that i agree.
