Thank god for them it is the finals and not earlier in the playoffs. Longer layoffs. that was such a great game. ill be fine with either team winning tbh. hawks have a lot of players i like, and i love the b's style

i can see giving bylsma anothener year or two, but man you gotta be rid of maf then at least. i dont see how you can keep that same team intact after that playoff disaster Found an awesome video. Larry Robinson smacks around Dave Schultz, and then drinks a beer them two fighting starts at about 2:22. Robinson takes a fan's beer at 5:05 rofl.

Big changes are already happening in the Leafs organization. Not only do we lose Dallas Eakins, but Leo Komarov is going to the KHL next season and Jim Ralph has been let go as color commentator.

I'd say Chicago is actually a standout against that style, because of the way their team got cobbled together they are more like the Red Wings before Ken Holland went awol and play a puck possesion game. But everyone else: Kings, Blues, Wings and even SJ rely on large guys, going fast, mobbing the incoming puck carrier, and an aggressive forecheck. Which is what I mean Western style. In the East, you dont really see that many teams do that except Boston. Would really have to disagree with you there. Flyers, Hurricanes, Canadiens, and Senators all play an aggressive forecheck and rely on team speed to play defense. It's very difficult to say what divides the conferences in terms of style. The Bruins are, at least this year, the only team in the East that is doing that style properly.

Its totally understandable why theyre locking him up, but I dont think that should have been the biggest priority for them If it were me, you do Malkin as a no brainer, do the same for letang, and punt maf to the highway. take that money and the money you save no resigning coattail riders like Iggy Morrow Dupuis (all of whom would struggle to crack 30-40 pts not on that team these days) and you suddenly have cap space to get under the drop this year and find a couple decent ufas. letang is too good in other ways to let go. hes a little retarded in his own end but a stud on the breakout and offense. maf just generally blows.
