Obsidian disconnected late game, by accident. One of the MVP was the star player, again t_t.

I was actually in a good position turn 1, received the ball, got most of a brick deep into the human's back zone, get the ball to my passer, and throw!, of course, double 1s, but hey... Things went rather downhill from there, for all I managed to break into his cage time after time, occasionally even knocking the ball loose, but it never amounted to anything.

Some context: Jartol is the winner of group 2 with an impressive record of 8-0-1, a well developed undead team with Guard on almost all the positionals. A scary team indeed. I came in as a sub during the season on the 4th week in group 1. All in all, it was a terrible seaon for my human team in this very bashy group. My ogre died on my second game, a blitzer died some time after, the star players I hire ended up getting the MVP (or dying). I also fired some players with major disabilities. I somehow grab some wins, but I get into the playoff with a very weak team, less than 1000 TV with no guard, no mighty blow, no dodge, no kick... etc. No apo as well and no money to buy an ogre. So the situation looked very bleak for me. I finally had enough money to buy an ogre, but I decided against so that I could hire Zara the slayer, which has two interesting skills "stab" and "stakes". Stab allows to do the armour roll without blocking (pretty useful against a guard heavy team) and Stakes gives +1 on damage against undead players. The game starts, I decide to kick because I am more confident of my without-the-ball game. And it is easier to defend with 11 healthy players while it is still possible to score with 2 or 3 players less. First turn. Jartol's ghoul fails to pick up the ball (no player has "sure hands", which imo is the only mistake of his team building). From there I can maintain enough pressure to prevent a cage and get the ball loose for a long time. At the end of the half, Jartol manages to change side with a ghoul with all my players out of position. All but one, my star player eating the grass with her mummy bodyguard. She wakes up and successfully stab the ghoul. For revenge, the mummy kicked Zara out of the grounds... where she died. At this point, I am not even mad or surprised. Well what is important is that I have not conceded during his drive. Second half. I am still worried, because my main tool to make plays happen was Zara, and my cool blodge receiver is KO as well. How am I going to score? I prep my team, ready to attack, then my favorite kick off event happens: "Blitz". Next turn my thrower is down as well as pretty much all my team. The ball is loose. Then the impossible happens. After failing again to pick up the ball, it bounces four or five times on the pile of bodies to the other side! An opportunist blitzer manages to make the best of it and runs away to score. Perfect dices. Screenshots are better to understand how incredible the turn around is, take a look at these: http://imgur.com/a/RIAdR The end of the game was nail biting. He manages to get a cage in my side the very next turn. Having used all his rerolls, he gets some turnovers on things like no block vs block so I can get a successful block on the ball carrier. I pick up the ball and throw it far away. On the last turn Jartol do not complete the very long pass to the only ghoul in position! Game over, 1-0! Thanks Jartol for the good game and the good manners. I have been treated of "lucky" for much less than this :D See you hopefully in season 3.

We had a first half a game where I disconnected. I was raped badly, due to some bad luck but mostly silly mistakes from me. Honestly I was ready to forfeit (it was that bad) but Morinethar was kind enough to rematch. Second match was very close, but I was the lucky one this time. First half: I receive, manage to create a breach, stall for a turn and score turn 6. Morinethar was in position to score at the last turn of the first half, but the hand off missed and he had no reroll left. Second half. I defend quite well with Morg'n'Thorg wrecking havoc in his cage. But the star +1 STR skink was again in position to score. Somehow a blitzer dodges the Kroxigor's prehensil tail and pows the poor skink. I pick up the ball, run to my end zone. Fun moment of the game: I pass the ball but the Kroxigor intercepts it and scores! 1-1 turn 15. At this point of the game thanks to lucky dices I have demolished most of the skinks and half of the saurus were taking a nap in the KO zone. I score easily in the next 2 turns for 2-1 turn 16.
