I've been thinking lately the way I format my Blog entries is at times unorganized, unrefined, and confusing for the common day viewer. I only have one paragraph worth of stuff I want to write about, and usually I have several topics I'd like to write about in a blog entry. I plan on sticking with the way I have things running on my blog now as they are. I've been having some interesting thoughts about actors, the way Terrans are dominating, Boxer's autobiography, and alot of other such topics that vary greatly from each other. I've been thinking about posting them separately with each blog entry, but then I feel as though there'd bee too many blog entries in one blog.
I just read Boxer’s autobiography and thought to myself “this guy perfectly explains the beauty and finesse behind StarCraft’s strategy and the numerous possibilities for this game.” When he described on paper the first time he saw StarCraft during the summer over at his friend’s house to get help on school work (ironically) he exploded the moment. Then I got disheartened when he started noticing trends in economic builds where they would be on the defending end of Boxer’s harassment. It was a time when Boxer was having difficulty in the progaming scene as new emerging play styles and builds meant for a macro game stumped Boxer’s plays. He said he began copying these styles but never felt comfortable using them. Fans began to notice how Boxer was playing differently saying he had changed. It was then that Boxer explained in his bio that he realized staying true to the way he played was best. It’s a short but good read filled with the obstacles and ventures of becoming a progamer right when pro gaming was just a baby first starting in Korea with power ranger uniforms, fuzzy television screens, unorthodox builds, and StarCraft at the present time when he wrote the bio which was around 2003-2005 I think, but don’t take my word for it. Overall, I give this a 10 out of 5. I also found a good Boxer biography thread here on team liquid. Here's the link.

There’s some sort of syndrome going around where actors are characterized by the characters they play in real life and then want nothing to do with their former roles sometimes overshadowing an actor’s career. Actors like Gary Coleman wanted nothing to do with his former character in “Diff’rent Strokes” who would say “what choo talkin’ bout, Willis,”? Wayne Knight who is mentioned in public as Newman, the character in Seinfeld, and most notably Jaleel White who has expressed his concern with not wanting to be affiliated with Steve Urkel from the show “Family Matters.”
I’ve been watching snipelot2’s stream recently and whenever I see a macrofest game I wonder to myself how does one beat snipealot2? It might be just me but I feel as though the PvT matchup has swung in favor of the Terran, not because the Terran is more powerful or anything, but the Protoss has yet to come up with new strategies. Maybe it’s just the games I’ve recently been watching that gives me this mindset. There was a very definitive time in the progaming scene where Protoss players had trouble against the Zerg until Bisu came into the pro scene coming up with new strategies in the matchup giving Zergs a run for their money hence his nickname, the “Revolutionist.”. I remember when Savior won an OSL tournament he wasn’t treated as such, people said he only won because the PvZ matchup was imbalanced. Lately to the strategies, the counters have all been figured out in StarCraft, so I don’t think there’s more room for innovation and after years of experimentation and different play styles I think there's no longer more to discover.

I'd be very careful about saying that. Most people probably thought the same thing before Bisu/iloveoov/etc. all revolutionized the strategies used in BW.

Sure, the major difference being that the most recent of those revolutions was 6 years of play ago. Games do get figured out.

JD did the same for zerg. Even later the Woonjin zergs started to show viable queen play. The game is still evolving, albeit at a slower pace with a smaller player pool. Also PvT is fine, the balance is largely map dependent.

He probably thinks TvP is T favoured on Fighting Spirit

I was going to say that Bisu's standardization (he didn't invent it) of the Forge FE opener was the last big change to fundamental openers, but then I remembered that standardized 1 rax FE TvP (by Flash) is relatively recent and a big change in early game TvP.
