I am a mid masters protoss player and I have frequented TL probably for over 2 years and really only made an account to like vote in a poll or something. I have been frequenting the blog section a lot over the past month or so and I finally decided to write my own after being so interested by other blogs. Starcraft and my experiences on the ladder and trying to improve will definitely be a big focus of my blogs but I think that overall I am going to use this to rant or get things off my chest. It gets pretty frustrating only having one friend that actively plays starcraft with you when it is such a big portion of your life. I watch or play starcraft everyday unless I am not at home for more than 5 minutes. I make sure to catch as much as GSL as i can before I leave for school(that hour ahead really screwed me over ) and I am always watching protoss streams. I dont frequently play many other games because my computer is pretty bad and I barely run starcraft as it is. I have big aspirations at improving at starcraft and I want to push myself to improve to my limits because I don't really care if I fail. if im going to spend so much time doing something that I enjoy I might as well try to be pretty good at it right? So hopefully my next blog post will be about ladder or getting things off my chest about my life that I would never say out loud to anyone

Edit: Just read the rewrite. I think it's probably a good idea to find more people in your area who play. It can really help to have a clan or even just friends you know to help you practice.

I hope to join one when I am practicing more consistently/have a computer that I can actually comfortably practice on. As it stands now my ability to play is really impaired. I play on a late 2009 mini mac thats bootcamped to windows and the videocard is slowly dieing so the game minimizes randomly every 15+ minutes. I play anyway because I don't have a choice and I have worked to hard to get to where I am to let my skills diminish. It's definitely been on the agenda though
