Other than cheering for my home team, and hating the Lakers. I don't really root for or against anyone in the NBA. All I want is competition, close games, and nail biting finishes. It made sense the first year when everything was so hyped, but now? I wonder how long they'll keep that up. When the Heat start to decline and their fans come out complaining, then we get to take our revenge and shit on them.

If you read the second sentence of that post you will notice the words "being serious for a second", this means that the first sentence wasn't to be taken seriously. Thanks for your advice though I'll keep that in mind -___-.

I don't wish injuries on anyone but I won't lie it made me happy to know that his career is probably over. I don't want him to get 6 rings, I don't want him to pass MJ in scoring. I don't want to have those arguments. Edit: No I love Rose and the Chicago Bulls wow.

Generally I'm ok with players getting banged up, like James did against the Bulls 2 weeks ago, but season ending, excruciating injuries are something else. On the other hand, I classify Kobe with Roethlisberger and I don't mind seeing Big Ben get concussions. That's on a personal level, not a competitive one. I hate Kobe and the Lakers and what Kobe did with that girl was wrong, but it wasn't near the level of skeez that Roethlisberger did. Twice.

First on Dumars, he's made some inexcusably bad moves. He also orchestrated a championship, but you cannot ignore squandering a high pick in one of the best drafts of all time. Even worse, giving Gordon and Charlie V those contracts has crippled this team. On the other hand, his last 3 years of drafting have been pretty solid and if they manage to retain Jose, that's actually a starting lineup with a lot of potential. Getting rid of Frank would be terrible. He's not anything like a championship coach yet, but I think he's someone like Carlisle who can build a strong team over time. Plus too much instability, especially with the three young guys, is just a terrible idea.

Plus too much instability, especially with the three young guys, is just a terrible idea. What's strange is that the Pistons never amnestied Charlie Villanueva. It's a lot of money but he's a complete sunk cost at this point, a sunk cost with a player option..ugh. That team is completely bottomed out though, they have nothing but cap space and young players - new wave team building's wet dream. If you think Dumars is the wrong guy, you have to make a decision asap, I think. When will teams learn to stop giving player options? The only thing worse than a no-trade clause is a player option.

I'll be sure to change my country ID to make you less embarrassed!!! I think saying that New Orleans doesn't deserve a team is a bit pre mature. They have a young and talented team, and from the games I've watched some decent attendance. This area was absolutely destroyed by the hurricane and economic collapse, give them time to rebuild and I think they could develop into a decent franchise. Don't forget that they just lost their franchise player in Chris Paul. I'm sure the attendance, viewership and merchandise sales of any team would take quite a hit after losing a star player like cp3.

Everyone "just needs a few more years". Every time I see them on TV, it looks half empty. Funnily enough, I looked up attendance, and 57 more people attend a Hornets game on average than a Kings game.

Whoa, that must mean the Hornets' attendance is double that of the Kings on average! Random question, why is Kyrie Irving's nickname the Black Knight? I saw it on a shirt or something and I've been curious :O
