Stream keeps going offline wile I am streaming

Hello, I am using OBS software to stream. I set my stream online and check it 20 min into a game it is in offline mode. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Can anyone assist?

If your connection is wireless or if you are living in a residence where you are forced to share bandwidth with your neighbors, those could be two possibilities...

Do you have your streamkey setup correctly?

Does it ever go online? As in, is it going online and then randomly showing up as offline although nothing has changed on your end, or is it never going online in the first place?

I'm hitting the same issue at the moment. Stream is apparently uninterrupted as far as twitch is concerned, but my stream gets marked as offline by TL after a couple of minutes (sometimes almost instantly). I'm using OBS, streaming to twitch. It happened repeatedly over the 2.5 hours that I streamed tonight. Anyone have any luck with this issue?

I know this is an old thread, but I would rather post in an old thread of the same topic vs starting a new thread talking about the same issues.

I am running into the same issue. I am using OBS and streaming to twitch. The stream runs crystal clear for a couple of minutes, and then it suddenly goes off. I saw a post saying that it is not guaranteed that you can watch your own stream, so I asked a friend to troubleshoot with me. It went offline for my friends the same time it went offline for me.

OBS saw no packet drops, I am on a wired connection, my speedtest says 75/35 consistently.

I have also tried xsplit and ffsplit, and each time it gives me the same issues.

However, even though it says offline, when I go check my recent broadcasts later when I really am offline, it shows the entire broadcast from beginning to end..

Hi im having issues where I stream and set the stream to "online" on tl.net but a few seconds later it goes back to offline. I'm not really sure what im doing wrong. Sorry posting here but i really dont know what to do. Thank you
