Goodbye guys. Tonight is my last night with internet. Moving into new place and I have no idea when I will be able to afford net again. I hope this isnt my final farewell (no one knows who I am here anyway lol), but if it is: It has been extremely fun. I remember how I found TL.net...
I had been playing SC since the beginning. I introduced my best friend friend when BW came out and he advanced quickly... and soon passed me up. I didnt beat him 1v1 for about 3 years (no joke). I didnt have net access like he did so I had no idea that TL existed. Eventually I was able to make him spill his secret... Liquipedia. Once I discovered this I wrote down 3 build orders for TvP (only matchup we played). They were 1 fac FE, Joyo rush and deep 6.
Then after so many years losing to him I finally won. I visited TL regularly after that but was too afraid to make an account. I became so good at SCBW (compared to my friends) that they stopped playing against me in 1v1 and always stacked the teams heavily against me in team games. During that time I was a frequent poster on iccup website and for a short time a replay admin. I quit pretty soon after when all my reps of Stylish were removed (due to his cheating incident long before). Ive enjoyed this site for so many years before I had the guts to make an account. I joined as a Flash fan and am leaving as one. It pains me to see all the bandwagon or new SC2 fans that he has acquired because I have somewhat of a BW elitist attitude.
My 2 favorite memories was the TSL 2 tournament and the CombatEX vs Chill with Day9 commentary showmatch. Since TSL 2, every single handle that Ive made on PC or console has the "tsl" in lower case at the beginning. tslStrange, tslArsenal, and tslDynasty and when people ask I love telling them about the site and SC.
I hope this farewell is short lived. Id love nothing more than to be back. I pre ordered HotS and Ive enjoyed it immensely so far. Glad I beat it before I lost internet lol.
Well, goodbye guys. Hope to post with ya soon!

lol even if you cant afford the net at your new place, what makes you think you will be without the internet? I see you live in the USA...see ya online tomorrow.

Wow didn't know you ended up getting HotS.
Thought you were planning on going through with the wallet vote on that one.
See you around man. Do try to leave us messages when you get internet access. I'm sure you have some note of everyone from Shakuras' TL nicks.

cool, come back when you make money
incidentally consider buying a TL hoodie instead of a month of internet, it's more practical and you need a nice spring hoodie anyway

Goodbye and take care.
Best of luck to you.

Disconnecting yourself from the internet can be the best that happens to you, you'll be more motivated to meet with people and start projects. ^^

See you dynasty hope to meet you again..

Good luck. I think you'll find that living without the internet these days is harder than it seems. Sure it keeps you from playing online, but more importantly it limits your possibilities. Finding jobs, being functional (news, etc)...
I hope you manage

Goodbye and good luck.
And once you get used to the inconvenience of not having the internet, you might actually start to appreciate it. I had an internet-free week a few months ago and it was surprisingly very refreshing and liberating. I got out more, met more new people, and spent more time with my buds, as well as trying different things out. Having the world at your fingertips may be very convenient and empowering, but it can also be quite shackling.

I have an increase in rent. Once I start making more money (probably a year I hope) I can get internet hooked back up.
