The perfect setup for me after 2 years of trying out nearly a dozen keyboards, mice, and mousepads.
Keyboard: Das Ultimate S - brown switches Mouse: Logitech g400 optical Mat: Steelseries QCK+ Headset: Sennheiser HD 598 Monitor: BenQ XL2420T ‑ 24" - 120hz Desktop: Alienware Aurora (I know Alienware seems overpriced, but this machine has proven to be the most reliable yet (after using 2 iBuyPower machines) and I would say it was 100% worth it)

Screen too small
Just kidding. Nice setup! I need to get myself a better mouse...
PS: do you have a microphone at all?

Thanks
I use a mic on my logitech c510 webcam if I need one, I don't use a mic often though, however, I'm considering getting a desk mic.
As far as a mouse goes, I can definitely recommend the logitech g400 which is in the picture above. If you have seen / used the logitech mx518, which is loved by nearly everyone, it is the exact same shape and performance, it's just a newer model since the 518 has been discontinued. I can also recommend the Razer Deathadder if you palm grip. Other Logitech mice like the g9x are also nice, but I didn't find them to be as comfortable as the g400.

I don't have much room for a second monitor on my desk, at least once that is a decent size.
However, with that said, I somehow prefer one monitor compared to two. I have used two in the past but since I've gotten extremely good at alt-tabbing over my entire past of using a computer (I'm 20), I seem to enjoy it lol.

One horizontal monitor for gaming, one vertical monitor for reading TL. that should fit
I like having 2 monitors (although I admit they are both horizontal). Sometimes I get the urge to get a 3rd, but my desk won't fit 3

2 ibuypower machines followed by alienware...good lord man take a look over in our computer build thread next time, its so easy.

I built a PC just a few months ago for about $1k total. I compared it to an identical Alienware Aurora build which cost $3k+...

I'm aware that pre-builts cost more. It wasn't a problem at the time. I should start learning how to build one though.

There really is no learning, its literally like 5 components you snap together like legos and we have a whole forum of pro's who will tell you exactly what will work great together if you give them a basic budget and goals. Just next time go over to
http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=137554
and follow the format, and they will build one for you. They enjoy helping. Easy as pie and you will save so much money you can get every game you ever desire and steak every night.
