I am on day 5 of being "clean" aka not eating crap food anymore. My thoughts are if I make it 1 week without eating that sort of food, then I can do it forever. I go into detail in everything in my first vlog on my channel if you wanna check it out. I would type it all out here but it's kind of redundant.
keep it up, I have also been trying to lose weight over the past 6 months.
The main things is focus on doing this for the long run. I'm currently at a point where I am losing focus because I have been working out and dieting for a long time so I am losing motivation. But think of everyday as a step forward and you should be okay.
I think most weight problems just come from living in the USA in general. When I came back from living in China for a year, I had gained about 40 pounds in one semester. Fatter than I had ever been before in my life.

good luck! my tips is to keep renewing your commitment and vows for keeping up with it! sooner or later you will get sloppy and give into eating junk if you don't have a clear comnitment every week! I talk from experience. This is especially hard when you do something abnormal from your routine, like going to the the city shopping without a lunch etc.

right now im eating healthy and doing the exercise bike for 30 mins - 1 hour. As spring comes along I will ride my bike outside and when my pool opens, I will swim.
