Today, I got hit with a rather dense plastic ball straight to my eye. Afterwards, I couldn't see through that eye for a while and then could barly see, albeit with foggy vision.
I guessed I should probably see an eye doctor at this point, and it turned out that I had hypema, or internal hemmoraging of the eye. The doctor told me to stay in bed and to absolutely avoid outdoor activities for 5 days (2 weeks for sports and outdoor activites) so that my eye wouldn't start bleeding again, which would be a bad event (he didn't go into much details).
He's allowed me to eat/shower/sleep normally, watch occasional TV, read, and browse on the computer, along with plenty of rest as long as I avoid getting my eyes tired. I'm guessing activities involving minimal movement are fine, so I was wondering if I should return to BW after a 5-month probation (I basically quit, but I'm going to be bored to absolute death) for just the 5 days. Would the heavy eye-movement involved with BW dangerous?

Sounds like a question for... your eye doctor. Although after a serious injury I'd say when in doubt play it safe.

This, ask your doctor, but I think with an eye injury like that you should probably not play any game that requires significant eye movement, like a Starcraft or RTS/aRTS game. You could play fighting games since that requires more muscle memory and other skills, but in general I would stay away from eye stress like video games for a while. That said, I'm not a doctor, so go see your doctor again and get the details ok.

When i have seen people on stream playing Broodwar games there eye activity was very intense. imo you should not play Broodwar at all. Better safe than sorry i always say (in game and out). I' m no doctor do so don t take my advice seriously.

From my fiance who is going to about to enter ophthalmology residency:
You should probably go see a a legit ophthalmologist, though it seems like you got the diagnosis of hyphema. Did they use a slit lamp/ dilate your eyes and all that jazz? If so, the doc you saw might be better than the average GP/ER doc. The main concern she has is that the hemorrhage is in the posterior of your eye, rather than anterior which is probably ok. Posterior hemorrhage could lead to retinal detachment AKA you need to get operated on ASAP. Anytime you have severe trauma to the eye you're basically pressurizing a ball and all the tissues inside are going to get messed up. A thorough examination would be best if you haven't gotten one already.
And no, don't play BW lol.

I did check with a ophthalmologist; the slit lamp is the machine with the narrow rectangular mirror that reflects light on your eyes, right? I think he mentioned that the bleeding was near the front of the eye.
I know I have to avoid touching the eye and physical activity, but is there anything else I should avoid? What can I do after the 5 days when the rebleeding risk is gone?
EDIT: should I avoid wetting my head when I shower?

If you saw an ophthalmologist and he cleared you then you should be all good! The biggest risk is that the trauma caused something else to happen besides just hemorrhage and since it sounds like you got a legit exam, should be np. The blood will just go back where it came from in a few days and unless your vision changes for the worse for some reason, should be totally fine to do whatever afterwards. I think you can do w/e, just avoid stressing your eye out too much for the next few days.

can you wear a black eye patch over the bad eye? maybe that will help you out

Play it safe. If you REALLY are in a huge need of playing, then go ahead and ask, but honestly you really should avoid the risk. Better safe than sorry, seriously. Your health is at stake--don't do anything stupid. Avoid as much eyestrain etc as you can altogether, as it can only help. GLyo.
