TheDougler noticed that when he wrote in the present tense Grubby lost and so TheDougler switched to past tense.
Grubby spawned in the top left; Slivko in the bottom right. Grubby opted for a faster cybernetics core than usual and clevery opted for a 7 gate +1 attack. Despite some pretty good reactions on Slivko's part, Grubby's micro was too much for the russian zerg and as Grubby destroyed the roach warren Slivko was forced to GG.
Although this recap sounded ridiculous due to TheDougler writing it in past tense and third person for some reason, if that is what it takes for Grubby to win then TheDougler will continue to do so.

lmao... You know slivko has been good before the patch right? Also nah it's not patch zergs, it's just pre patch terran/toss. I don't get why people never give credit it's so frusterating to read, I shouldn't go to live report threads when retards like this post all the time balance whining or "patch" zergs.
he never reallly said Slivko was a patched zerg so calm down. And the patch did make zergs stronger there is no denying it everyones going to whine no ones going to just "stop" so theres no point in being angry mah brotha

Haha justinpal very specifically called him a patchzerg like 4 pages ago
Sting vs Grubby would be better for the storyline since we have the new Korean vs a fan favorite. Sting vs Slivko would be more fun games since he plays so aggro vs Zerg and TvZ win or lose is usually more frantic than TvP.

Sting vs. Zerg is always a treat. I don't even care who gets to the finals at this point.

but zerg
you can't even balance whine. Grubby just using an untested build that just won't work unless Zerg has a huge brain fart.
Mind backing up your statement instead of a post saying it's "an untested build", how would you even know though that? maybe grubby's practiced it 1000's of times?
Cool, thanks for editing the comment btw. Well it doesn't seem to be working too well. Probably charging into the densest concentration of spines doesn't seem to be helping much either?
Alternatively, would you prefer the balance whine by the original poster?
Any type of 3 base timings are good vs zerg, true he attack into the zergs strongest position but even if he killed the fourth of slivko, he could of just pushed out and crushed Grubby's bases, he needed to go straight for the kill and it also didn't help the timing was a bit delayed. You could just ignore balance whine then again it is frustrating/highly annoying to read sometimes.

It helps you cannon your main in the event of an early pool. Also, it makes it difficult for the zerg to know if you're chronoing your +1 as the game develops.

Grubby was also playing gateway-first builds earlier in the tournament, probably just to add extra uncertainty.
